If the next thing you do is not get a lawyer, I have no sympathy for you. I don't say this to be mean, but there is one option: ONE. GET A FUCKING LAWYER. I don't want to hear about your parents, or finals, or job, or lack of money. Are you familiar with the term NPV? Net Present Value? It is the current value of a long-term benefit or cost. So $100 every year for 50 years is worth an amount TODAY. Well the NPV of not acting with a lawyer now is fucking huge. And it's negative. Any short-term co…

There you go again. Everyone is either 'with you or against you.' Surely if I disagree with you I must be doing mental gymnastics to support our arch-enemy. Never do you point out "this is where you are wrong, this is why you are wrong, and I disagree with you for this reason." Just the same general point: Oh you need to wise up. No groups that are composed to self-selected members with no ba…

If you ran a proper OLS or Probit regression on each of those issues you'd probably end up with an r2 value of like 0.02-0.10. Yeah sure, each one explains a small variation... But come on, let's not act like it's this huge systemic oppression. Yes each one is problematic, I agree. But let's not mistake minor variations for massive bias.

Just taking a binary worldview and going "rah my side is right yours is wrong" is very nice, as it doesn't require too much thought. Accepting that there are realities to each side, but strong categorizations are dangerous to proper thought and goals is more difficult, but more useful. Dismissing persons for trying to maintain level headed discussion and stability as not "giving a damn about the rights of men" and needing to "wise up" is not useful and just lame. This post doesn't add anything. …
