Yeah well some one has to pay for these children. It is not the fault of the mother that society makes children the responsibility of the parent rather than treating it as a communal effort.

I believe that part of the problem is that DV shelters were started by radical feminists. They believe whole heartedly in the monolithic woman concept and therefor have no theoretical understanding that different "isms" impact womens lived differently.

What the hell is wrong with people. How could she look at her innocent sweet baby and decide to castrate him. My God I dont understand this world that we are living in. Even if you account for drugs and post partum depression what she did was just horrible.

If the labor of family is gendered it is still a problem. Increased doesn't mean equal, furthermore mowing the lawn once a week on your schedule vs meals, laundry etc that have to be prepared at a certain time each day are two different things.
