For me it was lived experience and what men consistently did to my starting at 11. I started getting hit on by adult men when I started growing a chest at 11, I was an early bloomer and a big bloomer…my grandfathers friends hit on me at his rehearsal dinner for his wedding…I’ve been stalked…assaulted….my ass has been grabbed more times than I can count…I’ve been harassed…I’ve been threatened…the list goes on. Most men are great, but when this stuff starts happening when you are a child…it leaves…

Right? Like the sheer arrogance to think you know how others are thinking, especially strangers you don’t know

Online is one of the worst places to go to seek emotional support and comfort. People are extremely mean on the internet, especially if there is some anonymity. These are the kinds of convos for your close friends

I wasn’t either. I was told to work smarter not harder to achieve my dreams and did so. Never was I told hard work is the only thing needed for success o

Did you not pay attention in middle school at all, the girls were obsessed with cute celebrities…looks have always mattered. I also don’t know a single person past the age of 13 who says looks don’t matter at all.

Right, narcissism is actually pretty rare. Someone being a selfish asshole is quite common but true narcissism is very rare. Lots of people end up with charismatic selfish assholes and decide they dated a narcissist or worked for one.

I mean ya, it’s about compatibility and how you make others feel. People don’t want to be around others that don’t bring up the vibes of a room. If you can’t vibe you end up ruining the vibe for everyone else

Ok but who do you trust on the first visit. The shy guy who can’t talk to you and explain the problem (even if he might unknown to you be a better plumber) or the guy that can communicate with you and acts like they know what they are doing (even if they dont). Almost every person will go for plumber b on first pick without knowing anything other than body language and confidence

Right, this is just a human problem. The average person is going to fall for charismatic narcissism whether male or female. Males do this a lot with how they will follow a man they view as above him in a hierarchy and women fall for the narcissistic love bomber who makes her feel special for the first 3 months.

Honestly that’s kind of on men…yall need to police each other. Don’t tolerate gross sexist jokes. Call out your friends when they cat call out the car window. Stop tolerating this behavior

Yep I’m 5’1 and about 115 lbs. Just about any middle school boy or older could attack and harm me. It’s just a physical reality. Most wouldn’t, but it only takes 1…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
