Dad's don't even get fathers day off. You are right in the context that it would have a much larger impact if no men showed up to work one day, when compared to some of the similar womens marches. Just because men tend to dominate in infrastructure fields. The problem is that that approach does not work. Have you ever seen real change from any of those kinds of protests. Not talk on news or some political bs, real change. How has the world changed as a direct result of people not going into work…

No one said it does. What I'm saying is most people are broke, and most people get divorced. No one cares about rich folks because they won't starve or go homeless. The people have more immediate issues to deal with. Have you ever heard that most people are just a few paychecks away from homelessness? A divorce costs more than 2-3 paychecks. . .

When your poor, you may have issues making ends meet and each dollar lost could be a dollar of debt. Absolute count of dollars does not come close to measuring the real risk here. Yes Bezos lost more money in divorce than any one else, but he's back on top already sort of speak. The average man very easily could end up homeless and there is nothing in society to get men back on their feet from there. Once you are armed with the facts, if you are not happy with the lack of results. Then it's time to lower your standards as you are being too picky or recognize that the apps are trash and that you need to go outside and to find your person out in the wild. Either way it's not a bad thing to better understand the situation. Honestly for most men it's not much different. We have all seen it referenced, swipe on 1k people and the only matches are bad. I work in tech and they are so hungry for women that within a month they will be approached for management roles, they continue to have a poor ratio though. The guys just put up with more stress than most of ladies will. Honestly it might even be hurting the ladies chances by advancing them before they are ready. Inexperience in high stress situations tends to increase the stress further and it leads to burnout.

How about these: 1) Recognize that it's real. 2)Stop acting like it's funny that something bad is happening to the enemy ( men) . This only perpetuates a hate cycle. 3) learn to support those close to them ( in the same way men supported the feminists). Like speaking up when something is not right. Exactly, she is a greater villain because there was no greater mission that got twisted bringing her off the good path. She was just selfish, and took advantage of the man that loved her so purely, that it breaks the hearts of the people watching the movie. I think even by the end of the movie people still hold hope things will change, and to a degree it does. But now how any one hopes. Which just piles onto the sorrow of her role in his story.

Her role is so major in the movie, I don't really want to ruin it. I would recommend seeing it without spoilers. After you see it I'm sure you'll get why so many consider her to be the villain in a story that was not really meant to have one.

It's not real. If it were real why wouldn't capitalist corporations only hire women? Wouldn't that be a good deal. To pay everyone less for the same work, just by hiring women. It would be a PR smashing success to because they would look like heros for hiring so many women. And they couldn't get sued for paying men more because there are no men to compare wages with. It would be a win-win-win situation

If there is no pay gap and that discrete amount of time is equal, like hours worked then there is no earnings gap. It makes no sense to compare someone that essentially works part time to someone else that puts in over time.

We disagree on what real is. If a man and woman work the same hours and earn the same, it's not real. Way too many people think the earnings gap is a situation where women make .70 cents to the man's dollar. Because there is a large portion of the population that believe this to be the true definition it's better to say there is no gap as this situation is not reality.

I largely agree when it comes to the Internet, there is a real lowest common denominator issue here. I think in person people do stand up, but the identity politics do make it hard. Some feel like it's not worth the effort. The people that stand up to nonsense have to do it with precision, to have any hope in not being labeled with any of the lazy buzzword retorts people tend to see and use without thought.
