If she has moved on, you should as well brother. It's not easy but you can do it. You NEED to do it. What was something you enjoyed doing prior to meeting her? What are your hobbies? Now is the time to invest in your happiness and maybe while doing what you enjoy, you'll run into someone else who is doing the same thing. Breakups suck. My soon to be ex wife has already brought her new boyfriend around my kids. It's rough but that's life. We cannot wait around for others to ultimately never come …

I'm the same way man. Gotta believe there's a women out there who has also been through enough shit to never want to do it to someone else. Vulnerability will come with time. But focusing on you is really the best thing. This covid crap doesn't help. I'm in the same boat.

I have sole occupancy at the moment and she is staying with her family. The home values in our area have gone up a lot since we moved in. Bought ours in the 120s and same houses selling now in the 150s. I think the equity is around 20-25k right now. And I'm thinking that's on the lower end of the average sale price.

I think you're doing a great job and have gotten through this in an extremely healthy way.

I'm 2 weeks away from our pretrial date. I just got a letter in the mail from CPS about deduction from my check totalling $670 a month. Verbally we have agreed 50/50 everything. I'm freaking out about where I'm gonna move to once this is all over. I really hope they tell us we have to sell our house. My monthly income is 2,300 a month. Stbxw makes a couple hundred more than I do a month. My lawyer is great and tells me that it can still all be negotiated at pretrial but damn I've been stressing …

How'd the meeting go? It's awesome you're taking that step.

I get it man. I really do. The best advice I was given was to each day, do something you enjoy. Something that you use to do that you loved and have don't in awhile. Do things for you again. Be selfish. It's easier said than done to start. But that's all you need to do. Start.

My STBEW and I were loving apart for three months and about 4 months prior to that living together as roommates while I was trying to mend the marriage. When she finally told me she had filed a switch flipped. It was a weight lifted as well as felt like my shoes were concrete. I realized that everyone around me was trying to prepare me for her choice instead of me blindly trying to fix things. We have yet to get our first hearing date but I am seeing doors opening up for me to be happy without h…

She cannot tell you how to parent your child when they are with you. The divorce took her rights away in that regard.

He's been an area guy for 25 years and averages 100 divorce cases a year. He's a good guy.

And this is why I need a lawyer to fight for me. It's not that I can't or don't want to. Just that small sliver of hope that doesn't want to ruin future hopes of reuniting our family into one house again. A man can dream I guess.

My lawyer is a flat rate lawyer. He said if it last 6 weeks to 6 years, all I owe is 2500

Thanks. It's so damn hard to do things in a way that you know will hurt and already broken marriage.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
