This is a pretty neat trick actually, your mind is conditioned to act that way after you take a shot or whatever so the end result is the same, it differs from simply reciting affirmations and things in the sense that, when you say affirmations or tell yourself "I'm the man" you're still aware of the fact that you may be deluding yourself but this is more of a pavlovian thing that cuts straight to the good stuff without the kidology.
