My problem with her brand of feminism is exemplified by a couple of her episodes of Girls. When she pulls a "Basic Instinct" on her supervisor while working at school, the tone was lighthearted and fun. When the famous writer puts his penis on her leg, it's creepy and his whole person is to be shamed and demonized. When a woman is sexually inappropriate or aggressive it's no prob, when a man does it it's creepy and illegal.

Because it's sexier when they say it that way. Media gotta sell the sex.

I was making a facetious comment about how ridiculous the media is when they regularly call Woman/Boy interactions "Affairs" and Man/Girl interactions "Rape." They're not the same thing, is the point.

Probably a 15 year sentence, lifetime sex offender registration and likely a 30 year stint in a civil commitment center (another prison) until he can prove he's cured.

She didn't rape him, she had an AFFAIR with him, right?

She DESERVES to be treated how she treats others.

Ya know I'd be happy with the "Be a little gay" recommendation; 50s or current definition.

Haha...this one is so British it looks like a parliamentary meeting. I'll definitely watch this one but it isn't the one I'm thinking of. Thanks for the link.

This was the closest one I could find too in terms of how the panel looked and the layout etc. I like this video but the one I'm thinking of was not about rape culture but about feminism/men's rights in general. It was also much brighter in the room and a bigger room. Anyways, thanks for posting this as I think it's a pretty good one too.

What's with the trend of removing or delaying the age at which young people have privileges (smoking age in Cali is 21) but if they violate the law we try them as adults at 17?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
