I get depressed because many think it's a game and has nothing to do with the person. They objectify the other and will to connect physically rather than emotionally and physically. Which is a recipe for loneliness in the long run.

No. It doesn't matter. Some people don't give a fuck about "fashion" and aren't comfortable in it. Clothes are clothes. If you want to dress like a pretty monkey do so, but don't tell others what they need to do.

I agree and disagree. Attractiveness is not appearance. This kind of thinking really pisses me off in the professional world as well. For example, I'm a lawyer. There are some that expect me to dress professionally. Does it make me think better? Does it make me write a better legal brief? Analyze a purchase agreement differently? If you're attracted to someone, or someone is attracted to you is totally subjective. Conformity to some cultural norm doesn't show personality...it shows mediocrity. B…

Appearance is relative. Be comfortable in who you are and what your style is. Don't be someone you're not. If all they value is your appearance...fuck em. They're not worth your time.
