I don't remember who said it but, "Women are the gatekeepers of sex, while men are the gatekeepers of commitment" That is one of the strongest pieces of advice I got from this sub.

this is some of the best advice for you /u/bigrock45 Whats your relationship with your dad like? I come from a pretty similar situation. My parents split when I was 7. 23 now. Lived with mom, saw dad every other weekend until I was about 16. Saw my mom go through COUNTLESS boyfriends, all the exact same type of guy (Dumb, rode a Harley, and had connections). Agreed. I saw it on my facebook today and most of the people sharing it were either single mothers or fat feminists. Basically she wants other woman to be able to "tame" her son, unlike she was able to do to the son's father.
