| 2 | How Tinder works. I think.The match mechanics are a bit baffling to me too, though I think your theory holds some water. I use Tinder in a university town of 100,000 some people (Canada), so I expect that there won't be anywhere near as many people on Tinder as there would be in a city, or in the US. However, what's confusing to me is that I don't have any women pop up (even at 100km radius) until one of them already likes me.
