The best way would probably be with a simple introduction. Normally when i’m meeting someone for the first time there are mutual friends involved or some kind of opening that would allow for dialogue and then you can progress naturally from there. There honestly isn’t really a magical full proof way to break the ice with a person you’re meeting for the first time.

That’s a pretty blanket statement. I think a lot of people just want to hookup. And a handful of other people that just want to settle down. I don’t see anything wrong with someone wanting the whole 9 yards just because they’re 22 though?

Wow so i can say right off the bat that based off the very unhinged response she gave you i think it’s safe to say that in that particular case you didn’t do or say anything to warrant that kind of reaction. It would be difficult to measure “often” in a broad sense of the word so I can’t exactly answer that one but I will say that the likelihood of me getting approached depends almost entirely on my location. For example, if i’m at the bar then I am always for certain going to get approached. And that could also depend on other factors as well like me being a regular so therefore i could appear more approachable. Or if i’m often recognized, having conversations with employees or bumping into friends…
