Dude I have to ask you what exactly you mean with your qualitative and quantitative comments? As a psychologist, I am confused. As for what everyone is talking about, I don't think porn is harmless. People learn things by experiencing something else. Wether that's watching something, or being told something, it all changes our world view and shapes us into the people we are today. I think a lot of people use porn, and have a positive bias towards it. But it definitely shapes our interpretation o…

No, your legs are fine. Not sure what you mean by stared down, but I'd imagine it's because you're tall. No woman is going to care about you having slim legs, and if you're worried about your overall physique, work on it. Hit the gym, lift some weights and build yourself up a bit. You thinking that you're too slim is going to have a greater impact on a woman than her perception of your body. Read Models by Mark Manson if you haven't already, and work on you for a bit. When you're happy with your…

I'd say she's not that interested man. If she's struggling to message you much, and she's "confusing" you, my advice is move on. When a girl is into you, she'll text you.

That's what she's telling you. I'm still not convinced. When someone likes you back, it really does just slot into place. If you're having to ask questions about it already it's not going to work. Cut contact, and move on. As haxpy said, she's just using you as an emotional outlet.

Dude. If she liked you, she'd tell you. She's trying to reject you gently, but you're not getting the hints. Leave her alone, and move on. Her not being "available" means that she's also dating someone else that she's hoping to be a bf.

I had a lecturer today refer to wanting love and loviness as "filling up a tank ". I reckon that metaphor could be used to explain abundance. Abundance varies for each person. I've never wanted to fuck loads of random people. So for me abundance has never been about going on loads of dates, or fucking lots of people. You have a tank in you that needs to be filled. Having affection from someone fills this tank. But you can also fill it yourself. That's what I see as having an abundance, the abili…

How old are you? Bit of a weird one to ask to kiss her on the bus tbf. Also, you shouldn't have asked, you should've just gone in for a kiss as you walked her to her door. Lastly, move on. If she likes you, but didn't want to kiss you on the bus, she would've said something suggesting kissing later. I'd say she's not interested.

What everyone else here has said. Move on. If a girl is interested in you, no plans that she's previously made will come between you. For example, had a first date with a girl last week. We got on so well, it was a perfect first date. We agreed to meet up on the following Wednesday. On Friday I texted her saying that wed is miles away, and did she want to meet up on Sunday afternoon. She cancelled all of her plans she had, just so she could meet up with me. If she's interested, she'll free up ti…

You need to work out something that works for you, but has a touch of your personality to it. I read a cool one yesterday. "how to impress girls on tinder" you send that, immediately followed by "damn, I thought I was googling that!"

Op stated that he hasn't even started lifting yet, so it's hard to say that his genetics are against him. All we have to go by is that he "looks like a child", which again at 5'9" I sincerely doubt, it's more his lack of self esteem holding him back. I don't mean to argue or disagree with you at all, but what I'm getting from your response is that OP might have a condition that potentially could prevent him from putting on muscle, therefore he shouldn't work out. Realistically, OP should hit the…

Yes but you actually have something clinically wrong with you to cause that. The vast majority of people don't have anything wrong with them.

Mate, looks aren't much more than they do part of the work for you. The way you carry yourself, speak and personality (basically just your inner game) is the most important thing. Read models if you haven't already. And hit the gym. You say you're built like a child, but you're 5'9", you're not short. Get some muscle, with the right program and diet, you'll be amazed at how quickly you can put on muscle. It'll help with confidence more than anything. Oh. And the while genetics thing is total shit…

https://youtu.be/RsM5HhgJ3dg I watched that last night. Julien and Tyler talking specifically about rejections. It's definitely worth a watch, I think it'll really help.

Both of you need to go see a therapist. You have some version of OCD, you can get medication (ssri's) that help to begin with and then counselling will help you to get over it. Speaking from experience though, I've always worn a condom never got a girl preggers. Lots of my friends don't, and solely rely on the girls form of contraception. None of my friends have knocked up a girl. Age wise, 25.

He's teasing you, suggesting that you'll last 30 seconds the first time you have sex. Unless you don't wank, it's totally untrue.

Dude, I'm really not convinced that's a good idea. I'm not convinced that it's a bad idea either, but imagine if a future girl found that journal. Awkward.

Losing your virginity is only important to virgins. When you do lose it, you realise it really wasn't that big a deal. You shouldn't have thrown a strop and just left her, you should have said it was fine, got her number and agreed to meet up again some other time. Can you explain what you actually said that made you "like a cold motherfucker"? My last piece of advice is to chill the fuck out man. At 17, you really can't expect to go out and get a lay every damn time. Also, I'd recommend actuall…

Dude, how the hell do you remember how many times you've had sex? Christ, my mind is literally blown. Fair enough the amount of women, but how many times?! Sorry to go off topic, but man I just find that incredible that you remember how many times you've got your pencil wet.

You need to be more specific about the date. Girls want the guy to take the lead. First bit is fine. But after that, "coffee at x cafe, 11am Thursday? " something like that.

Are you sure you've become disillusioned in the way you're relating to women? I'd nearly say you've just not met the right woman for you yet. It's not rocket science. Women aren't these mystical creatures. They're human, just like you and me. Where are you approaching these women that you've had "sort of success" with? If you keep meeting them when you're out clubbing or in a bar, generally speaking you're not going to find a girl that you're going to end up dating long term. Don't get me wrong,…

Erm, I really want to read this. But it's illegible. Could you at least edit it, use sentences and stop throwing in random capital letters? I can't work out where the sentences start or end.

Would not recommend asking her out via Facebook just because she added you. Ive been stung several times thinking I've got a green light because a girl added me, but she hasn't been interested at all. Talk to her in person, gauge her interest, then ask her out/ for her number.

Don't ignore her for a few days man, especially as you've asked her if she wanted to grab a coffee already. Set up the date for within a few days and then slow down on the texting, just keep it cool. Show interest, but no so much that you are coming off as needy. I'd tend to agree with people posting about oneitis too, just be careful. I don't think you're at the stage where you actively need to go get another 10 numbers though. ☺

I'm pretty sure this post would be better off in r/deadbedrooms. But for me lingerie was always the way to get me going if I wasn't in the mood (though to be honest it was always pretty rare). My ex just walking in the room wearing some slinky gear, whatever I was doing would be dropped.

If you're worried about it then send her a text today asking how her weekend was or something like that. Hey how are you is just totally pointless. Or call her and chat to her on the phone? (you did mention fb in your post so you might not have her number)

If she said an equivalent of "I can be free " it means she'd change her plans for you. She's interested in you dude, you're looking way too much into it. Send her a text confirming meeting up on Thursday morning.

If you just want to be friends, why bother send her another message? You've already been honest with her, personally I'd just leave it until you meet her again. Keep texting her and you're sounding a) needy as hell and b) you're coming off as a bit creepy. Read back over your suggested text. "I find you super attractive and thought we had great sexual chemistry together " then "can we forget everything and start fresh as friends ". You're not telling her the truth. Make your mind up, do you want…

I have the vibe that this is happening now, and he keeps going to the toilet to check his phone. Hmmm...I'm gonna get some popcorn.

Well, I have friends that never wrap it. And they're fine, they get checked regularly. Girls aren't walking cesspits of stis. Condoms can't say they're 100% effective because if something did happen and someone caught an sti, the person could sue the condom brand. Realistically though dude, you might need to get therapy if you're that paranoid about it. ocd will ruin your life if you let it go unchecked.

Man, this happened to me a few weeks ago. Went to meet my friend who was playing in his band, had absolutely no intention of pulling anyone that night. Long story short, we ended up in the only pub in my town that doesn't have a bloody jonny machine on the damn wall. I'm sure I shed a tear when I saw that. Still went home with her in the hope she had some condoms. She didn't. But hey, everything happens for a reason. Had the best foreplay of my life with that girl.

I'd say most certainly a turn down I'm afraid dude. If she was keen she would've definitely given you her number.

Same here. Rejected three times. Sounds more like a pity date op (I don't mean any offence here, just my observation). But fair play that the op stuck with it, and I hope the date goes well.

From your post on askseddit I'd say there's a tad more interest than "little ". But I'm a bit confused as to why you'd want to go on a date with someone you have little interest in.

I was in a very similar situation myself. Unhappy long-term relationship, smoking, drinking, gaming all the time. I thought I was happy. Then we broke up. Seven years down the pan. That was the most frustrating thing. I'd spent seven years with someone, just to have it fall apart. For a while I was destroyed. I couldn't see the light at all. But there's always light at the end of the tunnel. I went back to the absolute basics. Rekindled friendships I'd let fizzle out. I immersed myself in friend…
