I literally begged the woman on my knees to be my partner and equal. She was the one that wanted the 'man to be a man'. So, I'll be fine with it.

I've been the provider type for 23 years. If I ever date seriously/marry again it will be with a woman that is thriving without me in the first place. I'd prefer a union of equals.

Yes. Married 22 years. Emotionally distant, high anxiety, closed off, and toxic wife. Fantastic bedroom. Sex is basically the only thing she talks about. Might sound great. But it isn't.
