For the record this is my thought process as well. We should dish away the labels and become a group fighting for equal rights for everyone.

That wasn't my intent. I was just trying to say that there are two sides to every coin. The person I was implying stated that men try to et the hottest girl and I was trying to point out that women do the same thing.

You probably fail to realize that the amount of shitty men and women in this world are equal. I know plenty of women who sleep with many guys and plenty of men who sleep with many girls. I know women who treat their man like shit and vice versa. Women are just always portrayed as the victims because for thousands of years they were. You cannot expect a change in 50 years from damage that was started thousands of years ago. Feminism isn't about fighting against a male dominated world. Feminism is…

Please elaborate. I'm interested in hearing your point of how it is played out.

I have always had a struggle understanding the double standard of sexual assault but I think I do now... If those had been switched she would have probably called rape... Anyways, did you do anything to try and cope with the traumatic experience or simply try and shrug it off because no one would help you? Also, did you explain what happened to her and what did she say? Finally, how are you doing now and how do you plan on dealing with it?

If you're comfortable with it, I would love to hear your story as much as you can handle. Thanks <3

But at the same time the contraceptive could have failed. It really is black and white because of you aren't ready for the consequences of your actions, you shouldn't be participating in those actions. Furthermore, if you view pregnancy as a consequence, you shouldn't be having sex in the first place without taking extreme precautions.

Very true indeed, but it is unfortunate that the radicals always seem to define a group of people. I think a great deal of good could come from moving this to more of an equalizing point than "hey look at this crazy chick on facebook or this blog!"

On the feminism subject, it amazes me how hypocritical they are. The extreme ones say they want to basically eradicate most men from society and become the ones in power when this is the exact thing they were fighting against in the first place. I have just been awed by how oblivious they can be to what they stand for.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
