Every time something like this happens, I must confess to being a little glad. While I feel for the men whose lives were negatively impacted by this, at least in this case nobody's name was released/got arrested, huge, flagrant lies help shine some light on the negative aspects of "believe the victim" crap. All the horrible things foisted onto men due to the myth of rape culture are slowly coming to light. This will hopefully make that process a little faster.

It's easy, they get their boyfriend to open up to her about all the little trials friendships go through, she acts understanding and pretends to be concerned with her boyfriend that he hung around with such an asshole. Sooner or later, he hates his former best friend and then there's very little to repair that friendship. This is why I don't discuss friendships with women. You can now be kicked out of school and branded a rapist because it is 50.1% likely her version of the story is true. I guarantee I understand the legal process much better than you do. So let me explain it. There is this thing called due process. A grand jury will only return an indictment if they think there is probable cause, based on the facts presented, to arrest someone. Probable cause means it is more likely than not the crime occurred, as alleged. The case couldn't even be made for that. So three different DNA samples obtained after one night? Claims she can't remember anything after sharing 5 drinks? Matching statements from two witnesses against conflicting statements from the victim to her friends and police? I wouldn't prosecute either.
