Ι doubt there is any religion or tradition or school of philosophy that has a positive view on women (pseudoreligions such as wicca don't count). Most luxury goods (e.g. jewels, expensive watches, sport cars) can be sold after you are done with them. You buy the product, you enjoy it, then you can sell it to someone else. I don't see any connection of a luxury good to women, women can be more accurately portrayed as a very expensive hobby, which offers you moments of satisfaction but it can be also dangerous, emotionally problematic and financially disastrous.

I don't see anything online to suggest that the company did anything of the sort. Yet feminist journalists did that claiming that those who didn't like the trailer of the film were misogynists etc. This isn't really surprising though, it is the standard feminist strategy of shaming into submission: real men like big (re: obese) women, real men support feminism, are you man enough to vote for Hillary?, if you don't like our crappy movie it means you are not a real man etc etc.
