Think outside the fucking box man. You can reap the benefits of the city without having to live in it. I’ve done the whole NYC spiel and that actually catapulted me to where I am today. I took a job in the city for shit pay, climbed my way into other gigs (always making sure it’s a step up) and eventually landed where I am today. To be fair it took a while. As in about 5 years to land in a decent career with decent pay, but in hindsight it was tough but worth it.

There’s no other way other than to keep getting out there because the alternative is not gonna improve your prospects. Stop thinking about getting a woman and redirect your focus completely on yourself. Go out on every chance that you get and have small talk with strangers (but don’t be a “creep”), join a club, hit the gym, check out local events happening around you and go. Heck I go to my local Y every Saturday morning to swim and with minimal effort built a small social circle there. I didn’t…

Abundance mentality. You always need to know that there are plenty of other opportunities awaiting ahead. You played right into her hands when you texted the next morning. Delete her number and move on with your life. If she contacts you again, proceed at your own risk, because you will have a monumental task to recalibrate the whole dynamic between the two of you. It’s always not yours, just your turn.

If they’re in the market, they’ll certainly come over.

What you’ve said is absolutely true. Been there myself. Your best bet is to walk away from this woman. She has issues for which I am also sure she does not recognize herself. Please walk away from her.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
