If you get into a situation where you greatly enjoy the relationship in itself, understand that she enjoys it for what it can offer her. And HOLY SHIT don't even bother trying to communicate with her about this, she doesn't even do it consciously and will skillfully deny it until the day she dies.

This is a brilliant post. Butthurt neckbeards and legbeards will say "mah misogynyyy", but the uncomfortable truth is that women thrive in this type of environment. You'll get better results using positive reinforcement instead of punishment, but even that doesn't have to be done skillfully in order for it to work. The key trait of the modern western woman is her absolute lack of concern for the desires of men. Women are not alone in this. Beta males, your couples counselor, her parents, and pro…

I had 2 but of totally different kinds, does that count? Actually now that I think about it maybe they're not really that different. Fuck. I wish I had known about this place 3 years ago.

Good point. I can think of a couple of people. I'm a little new to sluts, lol. when I really don't give a fuck about the relationship pretty much this.

One girl I'm talking to now was the cashier at the work cafeteria, of course I wore my ring at work. Major IOIs every time I came through the line. We have both left that job so it's not a shit-where-you-eat situation any more.

He could have kept the streak going, he fucked that up for himself.

Meh. Better than usual, at least she started it out by giving him a threesome with a hotter woman.

And what if you're already married by the time you found TRP? I honestly don't know how this is going to turn out. I need an exit strategy. TRP has helped me realize that my wife has never met my standards for a woman, and I should never have settled for that shit. I strongly doubt that she is capable of it.

This bullshit right here is why all of my children will be paternity tested. (My wife doesn't know this yet, any tips for that discussion?)

I've read MMSL. The comment was a moment of weakness for me as it was 2am and I wanted to go the fuck to sleep. She doesn't seem to have taken it so hard as your ex did. Yesterday we had a much better day - I acknowledged that it was a mistake without denying that I meant it. My attitude towards the LTR is she will either understand and get on board with my vision for our shared life, or we will go our separate ways.

Your "while I improve" level is where I am at now. I stand straighter, talk to more people, and notice more light flirting and other female attention. The results are encouraging and I will continue.

Thanks for the article. It sounds like MM would advocate talking out some of this stuff, but I don't know that I'm ready for that yet. I like your approach to the shit test too, I will use something like that when I see her tonight.

Yeah, I fucked up. I can't handle emotional manipulation at 2am on a work night, and I didn't want to go sleep in the shitty guest bed. Being married doesn't always suck like that, but I am making contingency plans in case this bullshit continues. About dread game - a couple of years ago that was a totally foreign concept, so I'm working on it. I'm not really sure how to calibrate this though, any tips?

I want this mindset. I'm not sure that I'm willing or able to go that far to get it though.

I didn't know she was married, and she sure as hell wasn't acting like it!

Of course. Rather than feeling like I have arrived, I am inspired by this and want to take it further.

I agree, but there are very few places where such views are welcome. TRP is apparently not one of them.

Sweet. How did you meet your affair partner, and how did the seduction go down? Any advice for me since I may be interested in a similar situation?

Every human interaction is manipulation. Congratulations, you suck at communication.

Nice FR, this is worth its own post. What is your frame when you say "good girl"? Not sure if I could pull that off yet.

Women are what they are (usually not much unless they have nice T&A).

I agree (obviously, see username) but unfortunately it's a little late for that :)

And "integrity" is just another word for weakness. Tell me, how the fuck can I be "true to myself" if I apply my talents and skills for the benefit of paper-pushing middle management, then bring my hard-earned money home to my wife and let her do as she sees fit with it? Isn't that what society expects of me? Fuck that. If I'm being true to myself I'd rather be self-employed and go to Burning Man.

"It's complicated." "Why is that important for you to know?" http://heartiste.wordpress.com/2010/08/04/what-to-say-to-a-girl-who-asks-you-a-question-you-dont-want-to-answer/

This is an excellent comment. I've been looking for a good book on reinforcement training. Got any recommendations?

Was your relationship with your wife always like that? If not, what were some of the first steps to get that way? For example, how did you get another woman in your bed the first time?

LOL guys I done goofed! If I had found trp before getting married, things might be different... Seriously though, soft dread and having the balls to stand up for what I believe in have turned my marriage around. Now I just need the hot young mistress.

Fuck, I want to feel like this again. Not sure if it's knowing that no one owns me, or fucking a new girl, or even if you can have one without the other. Going to a music festival in a few weeks... I guess we'll see what happens.

This is pretty much where I'm at now too. Thanks for the encouragement to continue in my hobbies and self-development.

Exactly about the flirting. I am working out wtf I'm going to do about the marriage, just in a weird spot right now. If I could do it again I would probably go with something like "hey I'm just saying, you really seem to know your sticks, and I only want the best". I think I did OK up until that point though, hell she brought me some weed.

TRP is amoral. My actions are my own, I am not getting what I need out of my marriage and I am exploring my options. How should I have handled the shit test?

I've read MMSL. Has anyone written a book on how to divorce your wife? I think I'd rather do that.

I am doing this because I'm tired of being a time ho. She's not meeting my needs so why should I engage in covert contracts by trying to meet hers?
