1	🤦🏾‍♀️ It’s happening at my department. The city manager posted evaluation criteria for the fire chief and the first bullet point was higher recruitment of minority candidates. 3	Goddamn men, saving people all the time I’m not sure how FDNY does it and I don’t really care to read the article, but the test we took is exactly what you described to an extent. It’s called an agility test, but there are strength tests involved in it, including a 180lb dummy drag. Then we start 5 months of training. Towards the end, we drag the same dummy through a smoke filled room. And we do it over and over for 4 days. We call it burn week, or fire control.
