You just have to make sure they go out and do something every day. I was homeschooled for a long time and was breaking out of my shell slowly for years when I went to a face-to-face school again. If she's a stay-at-home mom, she should have time to do this stuff - my parents didn't. If you can be sure your wife can get them out of the house enough, go for it. If she can't, they will end up awkward and maladjusted.

Laughing my arse off. "All men have a secret desire to rape women in their sleep." Not to mention bullshit rape statistics; 1/6, then 1/5, then 1/4, now 1/3. Next they're going to be panicking that 200% of women are raped in highschool alone.

Young teenager here. I've been homeschooled most of my life, and only a couple months ago started going to a brick-and-mortar, actual school. I've started to fit in pretty well, I have friends, and I play on the soccer team. Never, ever homeschool. It is not worth it. The amount of effort and time you have to put in, not only for your child's education but to try to give them something resembling a social life is ridiculous. AFAIK, I'm an extrovert and it's still taken a while to adjust. My olde…
