A guy like that should just give up on Western women and look for a partner in Asia or somewhere.

I moved to the UK as an Australian and got a lot more interest from women here. I find British women on the whole more friendly and less bossy/aggressive than Aussie ones.

Pretty easy to get one for most Southeast Asian countries if you've got a stable income.

Can confirm. I'm 6'3 and dated a woman who was 5'1 for a while, being able to easily pick her up and kiss her was fun but I've got a dodgy back so bending down all the time wasn't fun!

The problem is, where? Bars and clubs are a sausage fest for the most part and on the whole, women don't like being approached in them anyway unless you're very good looking. Bars and clubs, at least the ones that have decent ratios of men and women, are also very expensive nowadays. Work is a no-go due to MeToo etc. Social circle, good luck with that after university.

Not necessarily. Plenty of successful bankers, lawyers, traders etc in their 20s and 30s in somewhere like London, plus all the trust fund kids. Those guys would all have far more money to blow than small town Joe who has a small construction business and drives a nice car.

Exactly. I've lived in London and Sydney, I'd consider both to be 'large cities'. In my mind, a 'large' city has a metro population of over 1.5 million people. In the UK that would be London, Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds. In the US, NYC, Chicago, LA, SF, Miami, Seattle, Boston etc. Medium sized would be 250k-1.5m, and small would be anything between 100k and 250k. Anything under 100k I'd consider a town.

Are you 5'2, balding and a janitor?

Oh yeah, in a small city, the 'top end' might be some good looking guy who owns a successful local trade business and drives a Range Rover. He'd never be without a partner in a small city like where I grew up, and would usually date the hottest women. Where as in somewhere like London, that guy would be nothing.

Never said it was, hence why I said that it was a small city. Small cities and medium sized rural towns have similar social dynamics anyway in that life is pretty much decided in high school.

There's also a lot less single women in suburban areas.

The problem with rural and suburban areas, and even small cities, is that there just aren't many single women over the age of 21 or so. Based on my experience of the small city I grew up in, young women either find a partner young (usually in high school or a couple of years after graduation) and settle down with them, or leave to have careers unavailable to them if they had stayed. As industries in these sorts of places tend to be male dominated, men are more likely to stay.

You can if you share a flat.

I live in London and am sharing my observations. I would imagine the situation is similar in a lot of other major Western cities.

That was my whole point, these women earn decent money, but blow it all on designer clothes, pricey cocktails, eating out all the time, Ubers, holidays etc. I recently dated a girl who earned £50,000 a year but had close to zero savings. This situation isn't uncommon, at least with young women in London. This isn't all women but far more women live beyond their means than men, at least based on people I've met.

How are they going to retire early if they have zero savings? Unless you mean them finding a rich man? Yeah, some of them will do that but there's only so many single high income men to go around.

Exactly. Small towns are death sentences for people who weren't popular in high school.

Many Asian women don't date Asian men.

Really? Most of the young professional women I know are awful with money despite earning good salaries. Met plenty of women in London in their mid to late 20s who earn £50,000+ a year but blow it all on cocktails, brunch, Ubering everywhere, designer clothes and multiple holidays to expensive destinations every year.

I live in the UK. Pretty sure if you had that requirement over here you'd cut out 90% of young women.

I remember reading similar about Sweden. If you're an average man in your 30s and you've got the option of an obese single mother or a slim Thai woman of a similar age I can see why many would pick the latter option.

What about the dog pill?

Yeah Elliot Rodger was just an entitled rich kid who expected everything, including attractive women, to be handed to him on a plate. He wasn't ugly IMO. I've seen worse looking guys with women.

Basically this. I know a guy who's 37 and regularly dates and sleeps with women a decade or more younger, but he earns close to £200,000 a year (putting him in the 1% of earners in the UK), drives a Porsche and owns a very nice flat in a part of London where there's loads of single women. He's also in shape and looks youngish. The out of shape 37 year old living with 3 flatmates earning £40k a year, yeah not so much.

Mediocre guys can escape to South East Asia.

If I ever get to a stage where those types of women are my only options, I'd seriously thinking about getting a mail order bride instead.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
