Very interesting topic. I'm interested in seeing some more replies. Any hard facts would go great in the book I'm writing.

I can't help but get really pissed off. This honestly astounded me. It just saddens me that there is a group of people who, knowingly or not, actively make an effort to drown out and silence the real need for change. Obviously this happens with everything but it really hits home with me as a guy, as a single guy with two kids.

Lol funny i happen to believe most if not all women naturally use less logic on average than men and more emotion on average than men. Does this make me prejudice?

I can definitely see your point and i agree that at my level income transfer should be completely abandoned. My income and her income are separated by a mere 300 dollars (according to the court). It really is kind of absurd to think a child would feel like a prince in one home and a peasant in another just because of a 300 dollar difference in income per month. However when one person is making "significantly" more than the other i can kind of see the argument. Only because i wouldn't want her (…

This is correct. They assume you can get a job at minimum wage working 35 hours per week. They prove this in court by showing a print out of a Mcdonald's hiring ad. Also, being a full time student doesn't change a thing because you can't not support your child, which makes sense to me i guess i just feel there should be at least something for trying to make a better life for me and my child

Im sry. The system has failed you and many other men. My lawyer was exceptional and has been doing this for thirty years so that may have been my advantage. Although the mother didn't exactly make her self look good in front of the court either.

This is blanketed across genders. So for instance if she loses her job she would be back to the normal 35 hours per week minimum wage so in that case support would be zero

I'm sry if it seemed I was upset. I was just trying to explain the situation. I am very fortunate and I realize that but its only because I sued for custody when he was born Most accidental fathers don't know to take that initiative. As far as which state I don't see any harm in telling that. Its California state law.

"Violent Victimization of College Students, 1995-2002," found that among the nation's nearly four million female college students, there were six rapes or sexual assaults per thousand per year during the years surveyed. That comes to one victim in 40 students during four years of college—too many, of course, but vastly fewer than Ali's one in five WTF? 6 per 1000 translates into 1 in 40? Am i reading this wrong?

That's actually really sad. I could easily describe my experience in California state custody law "terrorist" in nature. Im sry but that figure is just too incredibly one-sided for me to even consider it being valid. There is no way that could possibly be true, virtually every study out there places female violence only slightly higher than male instigated violence. This figure seems like a very big leap to me.

Bad analogy but i agree that "people are shits, Not Women". The system perpetuates the "screwing over" of men simply because the opportunity is there and more and more women are using it. Therefore it is not the women that are shit it's the social environment that promotes their shit behavior that is shit.

My story is relevant but a little different. I'm a male. At 19 my fuck buddy who promised me over a hundred times she was taking birth control (the shot) got pregnant and decided to keep it. While devastated i was raised in my family to always support the girl if anything happens (conservative christian). So i immediately took her to court after my son was born for 50/50 custody. Amazing, i have been telling all my "girlfriends" almost that exact same thing. I don't bring up politics however because no one seems to know the history of there own party so its not worth it. Marriage has absolutely NO benefits for men in this day and age. In fact it has horrible disadvantages. Until women grow up and start thinking about other people then themselves i will never be interested in a long term relationship.

LOL yeah i TOTALLY believe this.... [insert sarcasm here]. Somehow medically trained professionals manage to kill 117 babies a year doing a routine procedure which cuts the foreskin off a penis... What did they go for a snip and accidentally snip the baby in half? Give me a break. Even with accidentally punctures, with the medical advances we have at our hospitals everyday in the US, i just dont logically see circumcision ever being a cause of death.

lol all of you are fools. If you honestly are against something so completely ingrained in human culture for tens of thousands of years then maybe you need to rethink your motives... almost all women prefer cut dicks, they look WAYYYYYYY better, easier to keep clean (smegma), part of culture (son whos dad was circumcised is probably gonna want to look the same, with or without "permission"). Get a life and stop trying to stop gay marriages, i mean circumcisions.

this amazes me how this is even an issue anybody actually cares about. I've never ever heard an argument that even came close to rationalizing the effort to stop circumcisions... There are advantages to both cut and uncut (hygienic benefits vs. i've heard the physical feeling is a tad better with uncut). This is like telling gay people they can't get married.

How is this even a moderate randing issue among Men's Rights???? It's normally both of the parents decision, and circumcision has been a normal ritual within human culture for thousands of years... I don't know this is a very interesting view on the Standard of Living for at least married women a century and a half ago. Personally it doesn't sound unbelievable, it may not have been as good as the author states but he/she (sry didnt bother to check) does make some interesting and valid points.

There is no point for girls to get upset because they are THOROUGHLY allowed to wear slightly more revealing exercise apparel just as boys are. As long as something is covering the breasts on the girls there is no problem. Therefore things like this are acceptable and we have ALL seen highschoolers wearing stuff like this.

I was planning on a more shocking informative view of the biased reality against single fathers (At least in California). However, i do plan on having a lot of personal experiences tied into the book. As for showing the book to my children, i think when they are old enough to be interested in it and want to read it then they should (so probably 15 or 16 years old).

The idea the you would refer to "feminism" as any kind of a movement for men's rights is what is mind boggling here... IN AMERICA this is simply not the case. Feminism has spiraled out of control since the 70's into something entirely different.

So it seems this subject is kind of a big subject in research over in Australia. There are a lot of sites generally claiming the same statistic which suggests around 32% of woman abuse or (end the life of?) their versus a figure of around 24% for fathers.
