I'm not American so that legal loophole was not known to me. However that is beyond twisted, and the loophole should be closed. But I don't think it's unreasonable to want rape victims of either gender to be free from any involvement with their rapist be it by financial liability for a child, or shared custody of a child.
Some crimes deserve long sentences. I don't think it would be fair to say that murdering paedophiles of either gender deserve less time locked away for example, likewise sentences for marijuana possession are generally speaking ridiculous for both genders Very few things are effectively solved by broad sweeping generalisations
Unfortunately as a guy, you're probably just as likely to get slapped with the restraining order as she is, even if you managed to hold yourself back and didn't retaliate
