Marine officers come from OCS, and barring that, Annapolis; not West Point

Kanye West (the interrupting guy) is not beta. He is on his own planet, and I say that with admiration. The idea that the audience wouldn't want to hear him never entered his consciousness. Tom Cruise is similar in this respect-he is on his own planet, one where everybody jumps on couches. Tldr; extreme dgaf is not the same as arrogance.

I've been thinking about this lately. I've gone on tons of first dates through OKC, and if I'm not feeling the girl, I just go bonkers and try to intentionally disqualify myself with this girl. I start talking about my exes, weird places I've had sex, and generally try to give this girl the message that she shouldn't contact me after our one chaste night together. Without fail, this behavior only makes the girl come at me harder. TL;DR: Talking about exes FTW?

Great for building more confidence as well You start to discover that without risk, there can be no victory. The first time I climbed 5.10c I was right under the finish, and thought "there's no way I can get my right hand to the finish, because my left hand is on a really shitty hold right now". Once I committed to the move it wasn't anywhere near as hard as I thought.

The way to defuse insults is the same way to deal with any other conversation; agree and amplify. Your roommate says you like dudes? Grab his ass and say "only the skinny ones". You look totally dgaf, and he'll probably freak out a little which is a nice dlv for him. My roommates girlfriend tried to cockblock me with a girl by saying I hated kids, so I blurted out "only the black ones". Obviously not true, but the girl was amused. Being alpha is about being a leader. A leader does what he wants,…

Sounds like my aunt and uncle, only she waited until the oldest kids were done with high school. All the kids know she did it because he didn't make enough money, and they hate her for it. She's miserable now too, because her expenses increased without my uncle there as a handyman, and Captain Save-A-Hoe isn't interested in a mid-40's divorcee. My uncle, on the other hand, is having a fucking ball. All these women are coming out of the woodwork to date him (because he's an awesome, caring man), …

Reminds me of Steve Martin in Roxanne. He has a huge nose in the movie, and some guy in a bar calls him "Big Nose" while he's trying to pick up the hot blonde female lead. He then comments on how stupid the guy who insulted him is, because there are so many better possible insults against a guy with a huge nose. He then bets he can come up with 20 better insults off the top of his head, and totally AMOGs the guy.

Any time a girl says "I'm not going to fuck you", she means I'm thinking about fucking you. PERIOD! I was dating this girl my freshman year in school. Cute blonde, really sensual, and she tells me "I'm not going to have sex with you". So dumbass freshman me thinks "Well fuck. What a waste of my time! I don't want blue balls!" and stops talking to her. If I'd kept dating her for another week or two I would have been balls deep, my friend.

Did nobody else think of this scene from Black Dynamite? Hear, hear mama. Now you can hit the sheets or the streets, it don't make me no nevermind. That's your bag, baby. You can go or you can cum, can you dig it? This movie should be required viewing.

I think it's practice. Most of us are limited by our own self-image. If you pretend you are different, you can trick yourself into breaking through the limits you placed on yourself, and eventually find that they weren't limits at all.

all my first dates are dinner and about 70-80% I end up f-closing. I've always been of the opinion that dinner is a bad first date (cost, food in mouth limits conversation, cliched, etc.) Can you elaborate on this? It seems like I may be missing something fundamental here.

Go bouldering. She falls, you catch her. Instant kino, and you're pressing all those "protector" buttons. You fall and engineer it so you land on her. Then go for the kiss.

Probably a shit test. Ignore, or agree and amplify, like this: "It sounds racist, but I agree. Think about it - over a billion people in China, plenty more in the other Asian countries. A lot of women just can't keep up with an an Asian guy."

It's gonna be sort of like a deadlift or a clean. Squat down and grab her, then stand up. When standing up, make a conscious effort to clench your butt-cheeks together, which will fire your posterior chain of muscles (glutes, hamstrings, etc.) Your quads should only really come into play when your knees are closer to straight (135 degree angle, or so).

I question how good your kino was if she didn't kiss you. Hand on thigh? Close face to face conversation? Body to body contact? Next time I'd you get rebuffed, try again a little later, you say you were with her another couple hours. Good call on going where you wanted, you were probably very relaxed, which is critical.

I met my most recent ex like this. A mutual friend said "she reads, and she's stacked. You need to meet her." We hit it off immediately, and the rest was history. Your friend presumably knows both of you, so your odds of making a connection are pretty good. However, it's entirely possible that she may at some level enjoy being able to complain about whoever she's with (I have some experience of this...) You lose nothing by meeting this girl.

It's flattering to say she looks like a celebrity, but if she already knows who without you saying anything, I think it's time to change tack. When she said "Who, Taylor Swift?" that was your cue to change some shit up! I'm just spitballing here... "No silly, my mom. She's the best cupcake baker in our whole neighborhood!" "Taylor Swift? Bitch, you look like Goku" "Amy Adams and Rachel McAdams combined into one impossibly adorable girl, sent down from heaven to wiggle with me."

Maybe the solution is to start with the desired endgame (#-close, k-close, f-close) and then do the backward planning to get from there back to the start of the interaction. If I want a solid makeout session at the end of this interaction, what needs to occur? I need a secluded place. Where is this secluded space and how do I get us there? How do I get her to agree to go there? And so on, back to the very first moment of the interaction. The goal for the interaction ends up dictating the chain o…

I really liked the line about having an agenda, like a meeting. You need to understand your goals and have at least a semblance of a plan. Of can think of two examples of this on my life.; I'm into target shooting, but used to just go to the range and shoot targets at random (not as on random targets, but I'd shoot my own targets without any sort of plan). I had fun, but didn't really accomplish anything. Going with even the most basic plan changes everything ("okay, today I'm going to have a fr…

Women aren't driven by the same evolutionary pressures as we are. While our focus is on indicators of fertility (which manifest as "beauty"), women are focused on indicators of intelligence, power and wealth, and generally not on looks. At least, not to the extent that we are.

Nice to know I'm giving back to seddit in a useful way. I'm using the name exchange as a gauge of interest whereas you and fall0ut are taking an entirely different tack on this and using it as a banter/neg opportunity. That didn't occur to me, but it's a pretty neat hack with some good advantages. That being said, I still think my method, while not optimal in all situations, has several key advantages: Ease of use, because you don't have to use it per se. Gauge of interest is applicable to all c…

Unless she's the nearest skirt to you (are you in Antarctica?), why the hell are you worried about her? Find a girl closer to you (if you can't bicycle to her place in two hours, she's too far away). Unless you know for a fact that this girl's pussy shoots sparks like a Roman Candle, there are at least 30 better girls in a 10-mile radius.

Shit, I don't even give my name until a girl asks. She'll say something like "I'm Naomi, what's your name?" or whatever the fuck, if she's interested. My name does nothing to tell her about who I am as a person or otherwise move the conversation along. It follows then that if she asks, it means that I've established interest/attraction. Similarly, giving out my name unbidden is, imo, telegraphing interest too soon. Giving out a number to a girl who doesn't give you hers first is similarly puttin…

the one time I had anything like a bad reaction was over AIM. I was going down to visit this girl, I was pretty sure she was DTF, and she said "so what are you going to do when you see me?" Me being an inexperienced kid, I said "Fuck your brains out.". NOPE. I could have said "massage your feet with chicken vomit" and that would have gone over better. Even if I know a girl's DTF, I never refer to sex in anything but an oblique way. "You'll like what happens", "We'll both enjoy ourselves", etc. O…

Probably talking about the blog posting that quoted the Feynman book. His books are pretty fucking awesome. He used to hang out and grade papers at a strip club, and he eventually did some paintings on velvet for said strip club. And he was the guy who figured out how the Challenger blew up. His books are "Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman!" and "What do You Care What Other People Think?".

Odd place to find this anecdote, since the blog author's point seems to be that somehow Richard Feynman...Patriarchy...slut-shaming...pizza. I've never tried the method, though I read about it in Feynman's book many years ago. His main point was that what he'd learned about how to interact with women (this being after he'd been widowed in his late twenties) was totally wrong. As a scientist, he found this very odd.

The sexy son hypothesis is in essence that females prefer some trait because females prefer that trait. It's circular and implies that these preferred traits are completely arbitrary. No evolutionary biologist seriously believes this anymore.

Get rid of your self-limiting beliefs. What possible benefit is there to thinking: You're talking about intrinsic qualities which make you weak/worthless/whatever. STOP IT! " <John Doe> is better than me in pretty much every way" "I barely grow any facial hair" "I am shorter/weaker/..." If you feel the need to dwell on past disappointments, focus on the things you can do better the next time. "I need to make an effort to get better at the things I enjoy doing", "I should go clean-shaven, because…
