Failure to serve food? This isn't a case of a kid starving. Did your parents really never have a time where the kitchen was closed? It's like the suicide issue that men's rights activists claim, I think. More men die from suicide, but more women actually attempt. I think it was more about nature than power. Men make over 12 billion sperm per month. Women ovulate once a month, and you can easily replicate pregnancy (when ovulation stops) using hormones. It isn't as easy to stop the process for men.

If you look at the statistics, it is a more serious problem for women. Only about 10-15% of the people who would be considered to have an actual eating disorder (like anorexia or bulimia) are males. And yes, body image issues are across both genders, the disorder that is actually deadly is what I think they were getting at, and it is more about females. I was going to say that any woman who is less than average looking is probably having the same issue as OP in finding a job. Only, instead of just downright telling them that they are too ugly or something, they probably go through the application/interview process and never get real answers as to why they weren't hired. At least they gave OP an honest answer - he didn't fit their ideal image of who they want prancing around serving patrons.

Yeah, I didn't want to dispute the fact that a boy's cost could be just as much if not more. I just think that there are a probably a lot more used dresses out there than used suits/tuxes, as boys either rent or buy and keep. I don't think that this was meant to be like "lets help the girls and not the boys!" Well, I think one of the reasons is that girls are expected to buy new dresses for pretty much every fancy event that they go to. Dress, jewelry and purse to match. Girls most likely get rid of their prom dresses because it is uncommon to wear the same dress more than once, for fear that other girls will notice and comment. Yes. Women's heart attacks are different and up until about a decade ago, heart attacks and heart disease were predominantly seen as an old man's disease. You can see these articles that explain that years ago people didn't see heart disease as a big thing in women. There isn't a problem with this. Ideally, yes, the decision should be between both parents. Legally and morally, the only person who should be able to make that decision is the person whose body is affected and their doctor. Until the fetus can survive outside of the human body, the sole decision maker can only logically be the person who is responsible for carrying the fetus. No one should be able to force you to give birth.

It makes sense to assume preference when 3/4 of the time you will be correct. So, then this stereotype works with girls NOT liking beer. You will be correct 3/4 times - (although I tend to think differently if age and city of residence are a factor). This doesn't work with men liking beer as only 1/2 times you will be correct. No. In my experience, those exams were for BC only. I just talked to a doctor about what my needs were as far as BC goes, she asks me some questions, and had me pick a method. The pap smear exam (which is now recommended every OTHER year) is something different. You need to get your BC prescription EVERY year. How is viagra less recreational than birth control??? You are not going to die if you can't get a boner. Viagra is a choice, not a necessity, just like the pill. Also, I don't think insurers should be required to pay for the pill, but it is certainly in their best interest financially. Seriously, where do you get this fact? I was an RA in college, and from what we were taught, only about 8% of reported rapes are "unfounded" Furthermore, it is estimates that only about 15% of rape victims actually go one and report their rape as a crime. This makes much sense, especially when you consider the number of men that are raped, but do not report it due to humiliation, or fear that they will not be taken seriously.
