Same, my girlfriends used to call it glisten™️. They would say that I was glistening at the boys/people I talked to and that's what "made them fall in love with me" and then be creeps or just awkward. I feel you with this. For me this is just one type of sex inside of an enthusiastic sex life with a partner. Sometimes it's fun to hold the reins, sometimes it's just to just let the guy ravish you. Same! My rule is that if I can't practice what I preach, I don't preach it! My standards are directly related to who I am and my goals. I keep my space tidy so I want someone who does the same, I keep up with personal hygiene so I want someone who also does of their own volition, etc.

I feel like with this in mind we have to keep focusing on the next generation. Getting girls out of abusive relationships, helping mothers teach their daughters to not take any shit. One guy I was talking to used to send me those voice memos that would disappear after like 10 mins. I always hated it! It made our conversations feel super one sided and if he said something a bit off color I wouldn't have any record of it. If we're texting, we're texting. If we're talking on the phone, we're talking on the phone. I hate this in between shit.
