Nah, I've got one that whines and won't listen to advice, and the other puts his head down and works through it. The price of gold has nothing to do with your problems. Almost everyone has a relationship in their past that haunts them. That is why everyone is telling you to just accept it and move on. I'm definitely old enough to tell you life almost certainly gets worse, but you just keep going. I've buried two little preemie girls... and then watched my ex unravel... and it hurts. But I can't …

Ain't no way he is going to. He's locked in his final answer at 31. And he argues with every person that tells him there are other loves out there. He whines like my oldest son. He even blames his education for screwing up his life like my kid.

I'm 62 and all my female friends that use 'partner' will tell you straight up 'this is a temp thing' that is working for them right now. All 3 of them that I can recall using that term are adamant they'll never get 'stuck' in a relationship with a man. Nothing like marriage is inntheir future. And they act like it's fine if one or the other just decides to end it. I sure haven't heard any married friends use it.

Dudes tend to be weirdos regardless. Look at the fascination with sports. I was a military brat and grew up overseas without TV. Came back to the USA about to graduate high school and just didn't get the fascination with sports. It's all the guys in my office talk about. Today is Monday and they will relive the glory of all the football plays and sacks of the weekend. At the beginning of the college football season I have co-workers who will get very emotional about their school. I have had two …

It's only my experience... sure. I know that. What it tells me is each of the women that has talked to ME has basically felt the same way about men and marriage. In the last 10 years I have tried to start committed relationships with two different women. BOTH of them balked when talks ventured into becoming something serious. (3 years for one, around 6 months before the other moved on) Talks of retiring together, etc. Both wanted to not go that far. It just felt like they both, again, wanted to …

I mentioned 2 who haven't... BUT they have both basically voiced desires to be with someone else. So all these women that have confided with me their feelings on the subject (usually when we were talking about my divorce) have eventually come to bad mouth the current or previous men as being basically less than they felt they deserved. I haven't had any male friends open up with thoughts like they deserved a better wife. Or they had one get away when they were younger. I think this boils down to…

I feel like the OP. 100%. I wouldn't leave. She left me. I tried to the bitter end to work things out. I made a commitment to her, and I tried everything to make her happy. In the end, she wasn't happy, and she's cut off EVERYONE from her past except our two boys. I do not believe she is happy now. And I hate to say it but she has made a few statements that make it sound like she never was. I've called those statements out and she immediately cries 'No fair!', but when something slips out a year…

Screw Missouri... My ex and I were pregnant with twins. She was back visiting relatives and her water broke. One of the twins was dying... when they did an ultrasound, they dying fetus was almost 1/2 the size of her healthy sister. Doctors told us at the point where she was in the pregnancy, when the one twin died... her body would likely go into labor to expel the dead fetus. We would lose the healthy one as well. No abortions in Missouri at that point except to save the life of the mother... .…

Did he actually call them 'menial' or was that a slip on your part? I know redpill guys who think both way... some who would think a plumbers work is menial, and others who think it is a legit 'trade', and by no means menial. Neither group wants to do it of course!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
