He’s going to be her best friend soon enough

Takes a very specific girl that won’t find communicating via email weird, even with everything that is going on. If you don’t want to text then phone calls / FaceTime are much better Just look at someone who’s a natural. Do you think the words “Can I email you?” ever came out of his mouth?

It just seems like “why try and make more friends if you can only have 2-3 real friendships” That’s just how I took it.

Real friends don’t need constant maintenance. My best friends I won’t talk to for a month or two, but I know if I need them they’ll be there. When we do talk it picks up where it left off. Don’t try justifying anti-social behavior

I agree, but there’s always a favorite. My thing is shit test is only a term only used by men who learn how to pick up women from the internet / pay some “guru” to teach them. I’ve never heard a natural say that, or “She said she doesn’t like me, it has to be a test!” - doesn’t happen.

Physically? Yes. Emotionally? Not necessarily. I know plenty of mentally strong women. There are probably just as many men who are emotionally weak, but society has taught us to hide our emotions. All those guys who beat women? Emotionally weak. So if a woman wants to hurt me she’s not going to do it physically. She has to do it mentally. But if you really wanted to fuck some girl would you tell her you’re not attracted to her? Maybe to play hard to get, but probably not. What happens if she has…

I hate the idea of shit tests. If a girl is really into you she’s not going to risk fucking it up by saying she only see’s you as a friend.

But that isn’t how it is, at lest where I’m from. I’m all for a positive outlook, but you may be playing a part in this. I’ll have a girl flake every so often but it’s rare, maybe one in 15 or 20.

I’ve never asked about hugs I’ve always assumed. But yeah I’ve failed more times than I can count. When I first started dating again it took me like 3 months to even get a second date. Now it’s pretty rare when a girl doesn’t want to go out again. Took me a solid year of improving myself, reading pickup info, and going on as many dates as possible to get where I am. Now I don’t even think about what I’m doing I just go with the flow

Yep, confidence is everything. If you’re insecure and awkward then a hug will probably come off that way. The only girls I’ve had give me a handshake were really weird and/or shy.

I understand that but it’s a date not a business meeting. The way she hugs you back can also give you a lot of information. I keep it very light but if she gives you a strong hug it’s a good sign. If she’s sitting I’ll do a handshake. If she walks up to the table or I see her coming in it’s always a hug. I bet if you were to ask any of your female friends if a quick hug as a greeting on a first date is weird I bet you they’ll say no.

I agree with you 100%. It’s a date, fuck the handshake. I always do a quick hug and sometimes I’ll lightly touch/grab their hand and compliment their outfit. Like naturally bring your hand down and grab hers. Takes a lot of confidence to pull that off though. Could be really weird for someone who’s awkward. Varies with every situation so it’s not something I do every time. If you get a strong hug and can tell she’s excited usually you’re good to go. Generally women will spend a good amount of ti…

So slow handshake over a quick hug? Pretty weird to me.

I like it. Since you’re being blunt the only thing I would add is looks DO matter. That’s the biggest lie I see on here. They aren’t everything, but a girl needs to be attracted to you to fuck you (for the most part). Working on your looks is huge for confidence. The second you approach or show up on that first date the first thing a woman does is assess how attractive you are physically. You don’t need to be born good looking, but do the best you can. Work out, have a nice body. Increases confi…

I would ask her about the show tonight. I also wouldn’t cut off communication completely either. There’s a ton of reasons why she’s not texting as much but I don’t know her or what’s going on in her life. If she blows off the show she already bought tickets to that would be a good sign she’s just not into the relationship anymore.

Happened to me probably 10 times before I figured it out. I guarantee it will happen. I still get caught up sometimes. Last month found a girl I thought was absolutely amazing, didn’t work out and I was pretty upset. Found someone else equally amazing two weeks later. I live in a big city so it’s easier to happen more frequently. A small town might take some more time.

Move on to the next one and if she wants to go out again great. You’ll feel this way about another girl I promise you she’s not the only one.

Give her some space and definitely don’t ask if something funny is going on. There’s nothing good that will come out of that question. I’m assuming you text her a lot too. Just relax and don’t act clingy otherwise you’re going to fuck it up. Keep yourself busy. Go to the gym, do one of your hobbies, something to keep your mind off her. Right now it sounds like this girl is your world and that’s no good.

Ugh, yeah. Why exactly did you FaceTime her right after you saw her? Give her some space man. If you haven’t already pushed her away you will really soon

Rejected kiss and the putting his hand on her leg clearly says hey man let’s be a little more subtle about this. She probably didn’t say “no not in public” so she didn’t set up expectations for later.

She doesn’t want to kiss in public not a big deal. I’m not trying to make out with someone in the back of a fucking Uber either. Slowly moving your hand up her thigh would’ve been a much better move. These comments are terrible the whole story is clear as can be. Public - rejected Public - rejected Private - kiss Not that hard to figure out man. She’s not rejecting you to see how you react and then assess your value. People overthink this shit wayy too much.

Ignore the guy who posted below you, he can’t get laid so he’s bitter. I think you missed the point of teasing or “putting them down” it’s supposed to be done in a playful way. Example: Was talking to this girl who said “obvi”. I stopped mid conversation and I said if you ever say that with me in public I’m going to walk away and pretend I don’t know you. We both laughed because obviously I’m not going to do that. Goes back to elementary school when a girl picks on a guy she likes. Same thing bu…

Maybe with a shit attitude like that. Maybe she was focusing on school and her career instead of a serious relationship? Maybe she dated someone for 7 years and he cheated on her? There’s countless reasons. But with your mindset yeah you probably won’t find one worth having.

Gradually break the “touch barrier” as the date goes in. I always hug the girl when I first meet her. Then small light touches when making a point or laughing. Asking to see jewelry on her hand and hold her hand while you do it, etc. Eye contact is very important. If sex gets brought up in the conversation then go with it for a little bit. You can’t go from no touching, no eye contact, and no flirting to inviting a girl over. Doesn’t work like that. The physical attraction needs to be built firs…

Good advice but the bottom line is if she doesn’t text you back she’s not that into you. I’ve never forgot to text a girl that I’m interested in. I might forget for a day, but if it’s been days since you’ve texted let it go.

Fuck that. What’s the worst thats going to happen? They reject you? It doesn’t even feel bad to get rejected. At the end of the day I’m happy I had the balls to do it

List of 81 ways to ruin a date in record time and be that “weirdo” she tells all her friends about. It’s not all bad though but some of this shit is unbelievably cringey.

I agree with what you're saying. I'm naturally very open. People could ask me literally anything and I would answer honestly, if they don't like my response fuck them. Prior to getting engaged I was going on different dates almost every night so there's been a lot of women. Obviously I wasn't successful with all of them. The reason I bring it up is because this is the first time a woman blew me away, seemed too good to be true. I've had great connections in the past but never quite like this o…
