The Alpha guy of the group is NOT the one putting other males down. On the contrary, if there is a percieved leader of a group of people who is, for lack of a better term "alpha", another person who wants to up his SMV would give him a backhanded compliment to assert his dominance over the leader to up his value. AMOG (Alpha man of group): The word is a PUA term that simply means negging a higher value male to make yourself appear more "alpha". For example, "you got AMOGGED" or He just AMOGGED me" On a side note - there is a lot of "pickup" verbage in the last sentence which is not my intent.
