My longest relationship with a girl was 2 years, but she was waiting on marriage so I went with it. Of course, ended how you think it would, that waiting was just for me, I guess.

OK wait, so, just how good looking are you though? Like no average dude could pull something like that off. Do you model?

That, I can do, but anything else after is all downhill from there.

I had the same idea of going out alone to a club tonight, sober, in the hopes of meeting someone in the face of my social anxiety instead of staying home playing League, but damn if it went that bad for you yesterday, maybe I shouldn't go either.

Damn; another AFC from KCMO, shit, maybe it's something bad in the air here (kidding)... 24 years old, been single since I was 15, and I'm having the very same problems as you, listened to about 300+ hours of self-help/seduction podcasts and audio books, watched YouTube vids about this a while, daydream certain lines to use if a certain situation would ever come up, lurked on /r/seduction and even /r/theredpill for about a year or so now, but all of my hours of research go right out the fucking …

In my current experiences, I'm beginning to think lying about being one is the best. The chances I've told the truth in always killed any and all attraction the girl had in me, you could easily tell like immediately after.

Ah, I would try this, but I never had a match with Tinder.

As a 23 y/o virgin, I've really really considered it for years now but I just feel like I would become addicted and spend every cent I had on it.

I'm not that bad at texting and I realize the basics that you never say like smiley faces, 'haha', 'lol' or whatever, but what if there's a girl that you want to continue to build interest up in over a course of time that you won't be able to see for a month? Like I would usually put 'how's it going' and just go from there but then if that's not a good thing to say, then what?

The tl;dr of /r/seduction basically.

2 and 3 just really seem to contradict one another, especially with the rules of seduction in general. I always hear you should always always always make show attraction and let it be known anyways and that texting is pretty much only for setting up dates and not conversation.

Like I know I'm extremely bad with women when I can't tell if this was legit advice or sarcasm.

No, just not being to do anything like take them out ever or do anything other than just eat in the cafeteria. Like they wouldn't flat out say it or anything but I could tell, like the girl I knew last year, we were great friends for a few months, we usually stayed in and played xbox but we went out once to sushi and I think the movies afterwards, that was about half the money I had for that month but I wanted to do it. We ended up being attracted to one another. But it fell through after I fina…

It has been the dealbreaker with the very few girls I've known while in college. I just feel like by the time I have any of my life in order, it will be too late.

Money. No way around that. It's just like I see no reason why any girl would want to date me if not having a car or a job while I'm in college. So I end up sabotaging myself in that I don't want them to find out I'm not worth shit.

I know what OP means, like yeah, it's easy to say "hi, what's your name" and smile and eye contact. Then the girl says hi, says her name then ask yours and you say yours and say nice to meet you. Then that's it. You try to come up with something to talk about. The couple times I ever approached, because a friend made me, it always always ALWAYS fell apart like this. I understand that I approach anxiety since I already have social anxiety anyways. At the bar, I would think to ask if she was from …

A new guy from that /r/bestof front page post here. Not going to lie, I've been extremely skeptic of red pill, and still am, but I've been lurking and reading this whole time, and a lot of these posts are like "damn..that actually makes a lot of sense" and "wow that's happened to me.." Stories like this are so inspirational, makes me want to reconsider what I've been doing to try to attract girls, and the 8 years of depression, social ridicule and the nothing that had come from it..

When I usually do this, I always fall in the background when we're in a louder and busier place, trying to speak up and louder, or repeating myself, but I usually don't get responses other than "oh" when I do get heard. If it's in the room or somewhere quieter, I usually either can't get a word in or have nothing to talk about or nothing to add to an existing conversation so I just listen.

I'm not so sure this works for everyone. As for me, I've been hanging out, going to the bar with the same group of friends for about 3 years now, my roommate who is extremely sociable with everyone, actually majors in public relations, his guy friends who are usually the life of the party in any situation and the female friends they have, who in turn became my friends over these years, and I feel like I haven't gotten any better around females, maybe gotten worse, because I feel like I couldn't …

What idiot of a guy would tell a girl that she is second-choice?

Because it's true with questions like that from first meet and getting 8 out of 10.

I'm in the same situation, but in a university. I hope to find some advice on here as well. Part of me don't even approach girls because I don't have a car or a job since its extremely crucial.

So glad you asked this, I've been wanting to ask this on /r/seduction for forever, but I felt like I would get downvoted to hell so I usually just kept to /r/foreveralone for things like this. 23 and a virgin, and being a virgin is probably the largest thing for my AA and shyness for any reason towards females, I pretty much stopped trying to approach and figured it's not worth it anymore to try. I don't know, it's just different with me, I see where someone said that our brain is programmed to …

I think I would've gotten slapped by the girl for grabbing her wrist to see her watch. That would've been the end for me.

Too bad my school is same-sex dorms, this sounds like what I would need, but nah, I would never have the confidence around girls. Never had to grow up around girls, no sisters, no same-sex dorms, no female friends, when guy friends bring their girlfriends around, I would just leave or find an excuse to.
