Honestly, I think the "sex recession" has been massively blown out of proportion. No we are not entering a dating apocalypse where most average guys will be kissless and dateless throughout their twenties.

Hmmmm, maybe there are other factors at play that are determining why women don't want to date you. I'm not saying your height isn't a disadvantage BUT usually the short men that struggle with women, they also have other negative qualities about themselves that are also turning women away. I'll give you an example. I knew this 5 ft 2 Vietnamese guy that lives in America. The man had zero problems with girls despite being super short and a minority; in fact, he was so good with women, that it nea…

Q4A At what height is a man’s dating life hindered? Honestly, height start doesn't start becoming somewhat of a handicap until you're super short. I'm talking shorter than 5 ft 5 for guys. It's not the end of the world but at that height, yeah, there will be many women who reject you.

People who were bitter but eventually found love, what was the beginning of you losing that bitterness? I went to the Philippines. It turns out when you're white, you have an advantage in the dating market. Back home, I was a 26 year old bitter virgin who couldn't get a girlfriend even if his life depended upon it. I went on maybe one "date" per year, mostly from women I met in real life. Half of these dates, the women didn't even consider them dates and I was heading straight to the friend-zone…

That's because men and women are held to different standards. If you're a woman, all you need is to be decently attractive and there will always be men willing to date you. You can have absolutely nothing going for you; no job, not a lot of money, not really any hobbies and interests, but there will always be guys willing to date you if you're cute. I know because my sister is one of them.

I would 100% rather have daughters because based on my genetics, it would be more beneficial to have girls than boys. I am very short and I have a disability which primarily affects men and both of these traits are highly genetic. Short stature isn't as big of a disadvantage in girls and my disability doesn't affect women to the extent that it affects men so for this reason, it would be more beneficial for me to have girls rather than boys. So if I had the choice, I would go with daughters every…

I disagree. As people get older, they tend to relax their looks standards and take personality/lifestyle into consideration more. Because when you are at an age where you want to get married, have kids, and settle down, you realize that personality and similar values/lifestyle is pretty dang important. For most 18 year olds, they're not even thinking about having kids or getting married so for them, looks are more important.

I know a girl in my college club who is very attractive. Tall, skinny, blonde, and has a very attractive face. I guess by definition, she would be a "stacy" I don't really know much about her dating history, all I know is that she's single. I can imagine she probably has a guy or two on the side right now she's casually seeing and will probably have a new boyfriend within 6 months to a year like most hot girls typically do. Attractive women just have a different dating experience compared to ave…

Some people simply have more potential than others when it comes to dating because they have a set of attributes that give them an edge in dating. A 6 ft 2 good looking man with broad shoulders is going to have an easier time than a 5 ft 1 balding genetically obese man. A 21 year old skinny blonde girl with a pretty face is going to get away more potential suitors than a fat obese single mom. However, anybody can improve themselves to increase their potential dating success regardless of their c…

I don't think that physical attractiveness has any correlation with personality. I've met attractive women that were really nice and extroverted, just like I have met attractive women that were cold and closed off, and it's the same for average and unattractive people as well. We're all different and tend to lean one way or another.

If WW3 happened and a bunch of men went off to war and died, for the men that did survive, dating would probably be easier simply because there's less competition from other men and a there's a larger group of women to choose from.

This can't be understated. Women date men slightly older than them on average, which puts 18-20yo men in a weird spot 18-22 is kind of a weird age for men. Men in this age range tend to be very hormonal as this is the age when you're in your sexual prime. Not to mention that many men in this age range are in college, so they're often exposed to beautiful women on college campus, many of them are fit and attractive. So it's hard NOT to be a walking viagra as a young college aged man. This is no p…

When I was younger and before I really got into finding a relationship, I probably overestimated my attractiveness a little bit. Then when I was 20, 21, and really started trying to date, overtime I learned where I stood in the dating market. It was not high... When I was 21, I was short, underweight, skinny frame, bad haircut, high voice, bad social skills, I looked like a combination of Mclovin and skinny Steve Rodgers. If there's an ugly stage, for me it was my early twenties. And to add fuel…

I knew this girl for about a month who was a hoe, and had no shame in admitting to me how much of a hoe she was. She wasn't that good looking; her face was a 4/10 while her body, was probably a 5. Still, she had absolutely no problems meeting guys to fuck and told me about all the alcohol she liked to drink and all the random guys she'd make out with at the bar. In a nutshell, she was your typical slutty and wild sorority girl, just without the typical good looks. I also knew another openly slut…

Iv'e known several really good looking guys in my lifetime who you might consider "chads" and had little difficulty with women. The first is my cousin who's a 6 ft 3 good looking country boy. I don't know his full dating history since we didn't grow up in the same city, but I do know that he had several different girlfriends throughout teens and early twenties and could find a new girlfriend fairly quick. Why do you think people are drifting apart from each other in dating and more and more people are perpetually single? I don't know, I think this is somewhat exaggerated, as plenty of people are still getting into relationships and having sex. I'm not saying that dating hasn't become harder at all, I'm just saying that there's still a lot of people who manage to find a boyfriend/girlfriend or hookup at a relatively normal age, and this even applies to average looking people. Virginity and no rela…

I wouldn't say unattractive men are completely screwed over, otherwise ugly people would never date. They just may have limited options. If you're an unattractive man, you basically have several options such as: Try to looksmax as much as possible to become attractive, thus increasing your chances of finding a suitable partner. Although this isn't possible for everyone because it depends on why you're unattractive, and some traits and factors are simply outside of your control. Personalitymaxx a…

How do you think relationships and dating will change when women out earn men? Women will place more of an emphasis on looks and less on money and status when it comes to looking for a partner. Unattractive men will be the ultimate losers in this type of society for a couple reasons. For unattractive men, their trump card was traditionally how much money they have and their ability to financially provide, which meant that for unattractive but financially well off men, they were able to make up f…

what will happen in the future of dating, relationship, family, hook up culture and etc. Not much will change. Men who are "chads" now will continue to be chads in the future. Beautiful women will continue to have an endless supply of options. The top 10-15% of people looks-wise from both genders will continue to have the most dating success since physical attractiveness will never go out of style.

Height definitely matters, but most guys are at a stature where it doesn't significantly affect their dating options, so they're not really impacted by height discrimination in the dating world. Below are several examples of how a man's height might affect his dating prospects, and this is based on the western world and assuming the average man is around 5 ft 10. 6 ft to 6 ft 4 You are the ideal male height and should not experience any discrimination or disadvantages in dating when it comes to …

I heard that with many asian women, they tend to age slower when young but once they hit menopause, their age seems to hit them all at once. While for white people, they tend to age gradually and look around their age throughout their lifetime. A typical white 25 year old, looks around 25, maybe 2-3 years younger or older give or take. There are always exceptions though. I know some white people who definitely look a decade younger than their actual age, while I know some asians who look around …

Height surgery will only become popular if they find a way to reduce the price and complications. Right now, most men don't see gaining 2.5 inches of height for 60k+ and 6+ months of rehab as worth it. Now, if you could gain 4 inches of height with reduced complications for only 10k, then you might start seeing more and more short men getting the procedure done. I have no idea if this is possible but if they find a way to reopen growth plates that have already been closed, that could be a way fo…

Black pill ideology is a combination of lookism and nihilism. Black pillers believe that looks ultimately determine your value in the dating market. In addition, they also believe that for men below a certain looks threshold, dating will be next to impossible. "It's over" is a common phrase used by black pillers to indicate that someone is unfixably unattractive and will probably eternally struggle with dating. The MGTOW's in a nutshell are men who discourage getting married to and for some, als…

It’s not their fault guys are ugly lol It depends on the reason WHY the guy is ugly. If the guy is ugly because his hygiene and grooming sucks and he's overweight as a result of poor diet/exercise, then yes it's his fault. If a guy is ugly because of poor facial features, very short height, or some significant knockback out of his control, then it isn't his fault.

I would consider 4-6 to be in the average range. If you're a 4, you might be mildly unattractive, but nothing too extreme. This girl in particular I was talking about, her face was a 4 or 3.5, but she had a decent body, maybe a 5 or 6/10. She wasn't overweight, but wasn't fit either. She did have big boobs though, so I guess some guys would like that.

Well it just goes to show you that life isn't fair, and we all get dealt a certain hand in life which makes certain things easier and certain things harder. Some people are smarter than others, others are more athletic, while other people are better looking. Certain individuals have a better upbringing as well; if you're the son/daughter of a billionaire, that's definitely an advantage too. All you can really do is make the most out of the cards you've been dealt in life.

I actually went out with an average looking girl once; probably a 4/10 in her pictures. At first, I wasn't sure whether or not I wanted to give her a chance but I figure since I'm not a super attractive guy myself, I figured why not? At least she wasn't overweight. Well anyways, I went on a "date" with her and I guess she didn't think too much of it because she shows up looking like a slob and tells me how much of a hoe she is, and how she goes out to the club every week, gets absolutely wasted,…

Not always true. If a woman doesn't completely let herself go and has decent face/age genetics, she can still be fairly attractive in her thirties, or even her early forties and beyond. She may not be as hot as she was at 25, but you'd be surprised that some 40 year old women still look good. The biggest factor for age-related unattractiveness is weight gain when your metabolism begins to betray you. That's why it's better to date a woman who's into exercise because she's more likely to be motiv…

Well I will say that even though my sister is very attractive and she's much better looking than I am; I wouldn't say that she's necessarily a more interesting person, and her life isn't necessarily better than mine. She also has her problems that I've never had to go through. Yeah sure, making friends and especially finding someone to date with will be far easier for her, but if you take into account the overall factors, I probably had an easier life than she had.

I think my sister is needy and dependable upon having a man in her life. It makes sense because she hasn't spent a long time being single. I mean she had many boyfriends from the ages of 15-20 and then had a boyfriend at 21 who would later go on to be her husband. Where's I have been the opposite of my sister. Women who frequently leave you on read, take 24+ hours to respond even though you know they're online, are always "too busy" to meet up, or even worse, they flake on you or simply don't show up to meetups, are almost always never interested in you. Women will rarely be direct with you about their lack of interest/attraction towards you, and to be honest, this isn't always a bad thing. That;s like saying you only date girls with D sized tits or larger. Such a retarded requirement. Why is it socially acceptable for women to do this ? The "average man" has dating on medium level difficulty. Dating isn't easy and they still have to put forth effort into finding a relationship, but dating isn't extremely hard either. Most guys in the average/normie tier, get their first girlfriend at a relatively typical age (16-20) and many will go on to have relationships with multiple women throughout their lifetime. Sperm banks can be fairly picky. You need to be at least 5 ft 9, college educated or going to college, no apparent major physical or mental disorders/disabilities, and they'll give you a genetic test to see if you carry any potential rare genes that could potentially harm your future children. I'm sure there's other requirements too. But hey, if you pass them, then it might be a viable option.

As much as it sucks being ghosted, at least you know that she's not interested and you're no longer wasting your time. Under the age of 25, it's easier to get away with a poor diet and crappy lifestyle. I know some 18-21 year old girls who never workout and abuse drugs/alcohol, and they still look good. But once you get past 25, and especially past 30, you can't get away with that anymore without it effecting your face/body. That 18 year old who's drunk all the time and eats nothing but pizza, will be fat and look bad if they continued to do that at 35.

I think it depends. If you live in a small town and you fit the physical and/or cultural ideal of that particular community, then dating should be easier. If you don't, then dating should be harder. For instance, say you live in a small town in the middle of America where most people are white, rural, republican, and into hunting and fishing and guns. Height does matters when it comes to romantic and sexual selection, but most guys are at a stature where it doesn't significantly affect their dating options, so they're not greatly impacted by height discrimination in the dating world. Below are several examples of how a man's height might affect his dating prospects, and this is based on the western world and assuming the average man is around 5 ft 10. 6 ft to 6 ft 4 You are the ideal male height and should not experience any discrimination or…

I think it depends on the woman to be honest. I'm sure some women are attracted to the "bad boys" but other women want perfectly nice guys who would make good boyfriends and great husbands. I can think of my dad as a good example; he's not a "bad boy" and is a good, smart, and financially secure man. He's not an overly "alpha male" either. And guess what? My mom and dad have been married for nearly 30+ years. My grandma and grandpa were married for 50+ years and he wasn't a bad guy either. So to…

Leave the man alone. If he wants to get married, let him get married. Arguing with someone who's set in their ways isn't going to change their mind.

What is dating like for women who aren’t above-average in physical attractiveness, but are above-average in game and personality? I went out with this girl a couple times (nothing ever happened between us) who wasn't super attractive. Facially, she was probably a 4/10, but with makeup and wearing glasses, a 5 out of 10. So pretty average looking. I don't know if her personality was great but she was fairly talkative and extroverted and self-described herself as a "crazy girl". She was in a soror…

As expected, men are willing to tolerate social deficiencies so long as the woman is hot enough. I think this is true for many average looking girls as well, but not all of them. I briefly knew this girl with autism who tbh, wasn't super attractive. She was probably a 4/10 but a 5/10 when she dressed up and had makeup on. That didn't stop her from being successful with men. She was this "crazy party girl" by her own admission; and she told me about all the random guys she would make out with at …

I'm an INTP female with a double whammy of autism, however I've never been single for any appreciable amount of time It's probably because you're a woman as opposed to a man. There have been surveys done, which shows that autistic men are disproportionately more likely to be single and be romantically and sexually inexperienced compared to autistic women. There are a number of ideas why this may be the case. Perhaps women can successfully "mask" better hence they are less likely to be diagnosed.…

I didn't really cover physical attractiveness in this post but I believe that being physically attractive can help compensate for personality quirks/flaws. For instance, being shy and quiet may not be as big of a hindrance for attractive people compared to ugly people. And the reason for this is because good looking people may be able to get away with introversion or shyness much easier because their looks already get people initially attracted to them. On the other hand, the uglier you are, the…

ENFP's tend to find romantic and sexual partners quite easily as well, and especially if it's combined with good looks. Both my mom and sister are ENFP's (according to the Myers Briggs test) and both of them had zero difficulty with finding boyfriends. Although both of them were conventionally attractive women in their twenties so that probably helped as well.

What makes a 'Chad'? Chads are typically tall, broad shouldered, mesomorphic physique, have a masculine face with a strong jawline, and are considered good looking. Famous "chads" include Henry Cavill, Chris Hemsworth, Dwayne the Rock Johnson, Zac Efron, Jimmy Garoppolo, the majority of male models, and the majority of contestants on The Bachelorette.

I will say this. You should only be friends with a woman if you're 100% okay with never dating or sleeping with her. If you want to date a woman, then you shouldn't be friends with her, because then you'd only be friends for the wrong reasons and when she doesn't want to go out with you, you'll be disappointed. Basically, the friendship was based on lies. That's why I'm only friends with women who I either don't want to date, or I know that I'll never date them.

Well according to some statistics, yes, less young people are having sex, especially among young men, where one study said it was 27% of men ages 18-29 not having sex in a year. Although I don't really think the "sex recession" is as bad as people make it out to be. I'm still seeing plenty of young people dating, hooking up, getting into relationships, etc... Lots of young college guys are still dating.

I think it's important to appeal to a specific niche of people instead of trying to appeal to a majority, because like one poster said, everyone has different tastes. Me for instance, I am a 5 ft 3 autistic male. I already know that a huge chunk of women will automatically write me off as a potential partner simply because of my height and disability. BUT, I do believe there are women out there who will give me a chance, but it's probably not going to be the 10/10 sorority girl or the hot party …

do men really want to get with the women that are desperate enough to give their number to a stranger who picked them solely on their appearance? Yes.

It's so easy to tell if a girl isn't into you within 5 seconds of saying hi. Maybe for you. But not every guy has the needed social intelligence to read the facial expressions and body language of other people, especially if the man is autistic because those on the spectrum are known for not being able to do this very effectively.

Is it THIS common for girls to sleep with you on the first date? It depends on where you live. If you live in a conservative, highly religious country, it's probably not that common. If you live in the USA, and especially a very liberal place, it's probably somewhat common.

Well I was thinking that another option (if she was okay with it) would be a potential FWB type scenario. We'd date, i'd get some physical and perhaps sexual experience, but the idea is to keep it casual or a short term relationship. That way, I don't have to be stuck in a long term relationship with a girl I wouldn't necessarily want to date long term anyways, but at least I get to have my first kiss, lose my virginity, etc... Which in turn, could be beneficial later down the line when i'm dati…

Exactly. It's easy to say that you'd never date somebody you're not attracted to when you have a lot of options and know that you can find someone new fairly quickly. When you have a lot of potential partners to choose from, you can afford to be picky. But in this scenario, it's a harder decision to make. If you don't have a lot of romantic options, and it's realistic that you could be going a few years, possibly even a decade, of not dating or sleeping with anybody, I can see why some people in…

Because prostitutes are illegal in my country (USA) and most people who engage in illegal prostitution here are trafficked and forced to do it, and I don't want to get involved with that. The nearest (legal) brothel is in Nevada which is 25+ hours away and the US isn't going to legalize sex work anytime soon, and especially not where I live which is highly conservative and religious. Trust me, if brothels were legal and near where I live, I probably would have gone to one by now.

If you’re not attracted to her, what experience exactly are you gaining? Well in this scenario, what you would be getting is romantic and sexual experience which may be beneficial later down the road when you have relationships with other people, especially those who you consider to be better for you partner wise. Remember when you had your first ever job? It was probably some shitty job part-time minimum wage job that you didn't like. But the reason you did the job was because you were young, y…

Well to be honest, looks probably matter more prior to the age of 25. Say you're a person in the 17-21 age range, you're at an age where A lot of people are youthful and good looking and their face and body hasn't shown signs of aging yet. A lot of people like to go out and drink and party at this age and participate in hookup culture which emphasizes looks over personality. This is the age (especially for men) where they're at their hormonal peak and have their peak testosterone production so t…

I want to say that in an ideal world, people are choosing personality over looks, but I don't think that's the case a lot of the time. Let's be honest, a lot of people choose partners mostly on looks and overlook personality let's be honest. Sometimes when you're physically attracted to someone, it's easier to overlook personality flaws or a mediocre personality simply because you find them hot. But if an ugly person acts the same way or has the same personality, all of a sudden they're boring, …

For the men: do you find introverted women or extroverted women more attractive? I prefer extroverted because i'm a quiet guy so I like a girl who's outgoing because if both of us are quiet, how are we going to be able to get to know each other?

Depends on the girl. The point is that you don't need good looks to date like black pillers might tell you. If that were the case, then ugly people wouldn't be getting into relationships and people would be leaving each other as soon as they get old and fat.

How rich does an unattractive man have to be to become an option for women? Looks are both objective and subjective and women have different personal preferences in what they find attractive in a man. A woman may consider one guy to be a 4/10, while some other woman may consider him to be a 7/10, if that makes sense. So men should ideally go for women who consider their type to be attractive, or at least attractive enough to give them a shot. There's no point in chasing after a girl who wants a …

I know that many women from south-east Asia get into relationships with white foreign men for several different reasons. In many cultures in south-east Asia such as The Philippines, white skin is considered the beauty standard. So people with white skin are oftentimes considered to be more attractive. White skin is also associated with wealth. If you are white, then you are stereotyped as being rich. Some exclusively date white foreigners in the hopes of getting married and escaping poverty from…

Iv'e known several really attractive girls who are dating or are married to men who are not that good looking either because the girl doesn't care looks all that much or women have different physical tastes of what they find attractive. As a young man, growing up, you're led to believe that women don't care about looks all that much and it's all about "the inside that counts." But then you enter high school and while all of your 6 ft tall smooth talking classmates are getting into relationships, your 5 ft 3 scrawny ass is struggling to even get attention let alone a girlfriend. So I think for many men when they enter high school, they learn that yes, women care about looks just as much as men do, and they want to date hot guys …

Do modern women overestimate their attractiveness? Or is it that they underestimate it? I would say for many women, they overestimate their attractiveness, of course not all of them. I think one reason why some women overestimate their attractiveness is because for one simple reason. Many really attractive men will sleep with women who arne't as attractive if they think they're an easy lay, but not necessarily want to get into a relationship with these girls. So this leads some average looking o…

That's definitely true. HOW you store fat can mean the difference in whether or not guys perceive you as "thick" or just fat. If you got big hips, big butt, but a smaller waist and belly, guys perceive you as thick which a lot of guys are actually attracted to.

Are thin girls automatically a 7/10 now because of obesity epidemic? I feel like this mostly applies to people who are 30 and up. Because in college, most college kids are fairly skinny, but that's just because when you're young, you can get away with an unhealthy lifestyle without your body necessarily showing it. A lot of 18 year old can get away with excessive drinking and eating whatever they want and not gain a single pound. It doesn't mean they're healthy, it's just that their metabolism h…
