What rights do I have as a man? OP said that he’s already taken a paternity test. That is all that is required in court to establish legal paternity. Once he does, he has the same level of custody as he would if they were married. Technically they would both have full custody. But i think you’re kind of missing the point. It doesn’t matter how calm you are. The issue is not that someone is being aggressive or that they use “pc” language or whatever, it’s the opinion itself that they disagree with. Strongly. 2	im too pissed to edit it... A tenure track STEM position at an R1 research institution, preferentially seeking people of a certain gender (or certain races). You are correct: specifically the hiring process. However, the courts have found it ok to, for instance, focus adverts to HBCUs due to the low rates of application by minority groups. What rights do I have as a man? Regardless of your position, since she’s the one going through the medical procedure you may not be able to actually be there at the birth. If she doesn’t want you in the room, the hospital will likely remove you. I’m pretty sure it’s only illegal to have it impact the hiring process, as opposed to the recruitment process.
