Sure I will agree with you that you can say they engaged in homosexual activities. I’m just saying you can’t simply call specific people from then homosexuals because they themselves never saw themselves as gay.

I mean I agree the same situation taking place in the present would be considered gay, but I don’t think it’s right to use relatively modern terms to describe the activities of ancient people because it’s not simple enough to just explain it as them being gay (it’s got some cultural significance to it), it’s more accurate to say they saw having a good time with a friend. Basically what I’m saying is it doesn’t feel right to call someone gay who grew up in a world where 1) they had no concept of …

TBF calling ancient Greeks homosexuals is not really accurate considering that they didn’t really have a concept of sexuality. It would me more accurate to say they liked to stick their dicks in anything they could fit it in.

What you’re looking over is the fact that most search engines try to find the words you search for in the text of websites. You can see a clear example of this in the photo OP posted. (3rd website shown if you don’t know)

Still doesn’t change the fact that man is in woman.

Thanks, for your criticism, I might retry the question by asking that instead.

Thank you for responding with a reasonable response, I’ve never thought about it that way.

I haven’t expressed any of my opinions at all, in fact an opinion is the reason I’m asking the question. From your subreddits response, and from one of the feminist subreddits responses I’ll begin to form my own opinion. I’ll respect your request to “fuck off” just keep in mind I’m not being ignorant or demanding anything. I would appreciate it if you responded with something helpful and eye opening, but nowhere did I demand you to say anything.

I’m not here to debate, I just want your opinion and any evidence backing up your opinion.

Thanks, I’ll check it out.

Hey man, no need to be so hostile, I just simply want your opinion on the topic and/or some sources to back up your point on it.

Ok I can respect, I’m mostly asking the question because I wanna hear both sides of things; after I’m done asking on this subreddit I’m gonna hop over to the feminist subreddit and ask the opposite question.

Ok, let’s put it this way, let’s say you are the one claiming it doesn’t exist. What sources or proof would you use to back up your claim?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
