I’ve realized more and more that finding a relationship is also about chance and luck. There are lots of good people people out there who are single and lot of toxic, shitty people in relationships. A gf isn’t a reward for being good. Also, I’m biologically a woman and that’s what makes me a woman. There’s no magical thing that makes me feminine, and someone else doing living their live doesn’t have any effect on my biology.

Correct. She’s not going to change.

Sounds like you both need therapy. Redditors aren’t going to have a solution for your situation.

Dump her ass. Call the cops if she gets physical. Get a restraining order.
/r/ExRedPill19/10/22 12:36 PM

No. That woman needs therapy, and it’s unlikely that another woman is going to change their toxic patterns. Women aren’t responsible for other women’s behavior just because they’re both women.

Really depends on what you’re looking for. If you want a deep relationship, you’re going to have get rid of the “acquiring women” mentality and really think about compatibility and building a partnership with someone. I’m with my boyfriend because we want similar things in life and enjoy spending time together. That comes with taking the time to get to know a person.

Because I love my man for who he is and am not looking for hookups or upgrades.

As a boss, I’m very equal when it come to dealing with sexism and harassment. My friends tend to be egalitarian like me. However, in general I’ve noticed men to respond with defensiveness and ‘whataboutism’ more than women when criticized.

Because when I get in a relationship, it’s because I specifically value that person. I have a career, so I’m looking for companionship, not money. I wish men would understand they have value beyond providing for me.

Same! I also came here from a third world country and I worked my ass off to get here and make something of myself. So no, I won’t erase my hard work in order to appease the manosphere or make Western men feel more comfortable.

No the bar isn’t on the floor. I enjoy my peace and if I date a guy, there has to be a good reason for me to risk my peace and sanity for this guy. However, a lot of guys don’t even meet basic standards, like hygiene and common courtesy. If I put the bar on the ground, they will dig under it. (I say guys because I’m straight and that’s who I date. I’m sure there are women like this too, but I obviously don’t have experience with it.)

Once again, depends on the woman. No, I don’t want a provider, but I do want us both to be financially independent of each other. Last thing I want, especially as I get older, is to be a grown woman asking for an allowance.

They exist in some circles, but it’s not as widespread as RP makes it out to be. I’m almost 40. There is no wall. I’m more financially stable and I know what I want in life. I’m not against relationships, but also not desperate that I’d risk my peace for someone incompatible. A lot of RP is projecting. Men who are afraid of loneliness and don’t want to admit it project their own fears on women

Look around at average people who are married. This is obviously not true.

It really depends on the woman. If they are really hung up on that stuff, sure. Most women I know who are older and have a full life are pretty happy. I’m almost 40, am in a good place financially, I have a career and hobbies, I’m physically fit, I get to travel for work. My 30s have been the best years so far, and I look forward to my 40s

Yes, it should absolutely be mutual. A lot of men give the impression of “I need to a acquire a girlfriend” instead of “I am interested in building a relationship with this specific person”.

I think at the heart of it, Red Pill men are afraid of being old and alone, so they project it as though women are the ones who should fear being old and alone, despite older single women generally being content with their lives.

Good on you for thinking this through. I never understood the mentality of “they can get it easily, so they shouldn’t have it at all”.

I can provide for myself. When I get into a relationship, it’s because I like that specific man, so no I’m not out looking for better.

Same with mine. I’m with him because he’s awesome, not due to financial dependence on him. And we both enjoy sex and it’s not transactional. I don’t understand men who are trying to be commodified.

You literally blamed the decline of society on women and made a lot of sweeping generalizations about them, and now you’re backtracking on that. You say things are working for you and you’re unwilling to really look at your own views of women, there’s not much that can be done as long as you continue to keep your security blanket and be in denial.

I’m more of an individualist and egalitarian than a feminist. I am here because I am interested in gender relations in terms of everyone getting their needs met instead of constantly being hostile towards each other. I also just want to live my life. I immigrated and worked my ass off to get where I am. Men aren’t responsible for my successes or failure and I’m nit responsible for theirs. I refuse to give up on my aspirations for a man who is just going to blame me for all the ills of society. I…

Here’s what confuses me about MTGTOW. If you’re “going your own way”, why are you still fixated on what women do or don’t do? Why not just do your own thing? I’m just trying to understand where you’re coming from with this.

I don’t understand seeing sex as cowardly or shameful. Have sex how you want. If you don’t want it, don’t. Why is this hard?

Because it targets hurt men, and gives a very narrow worldview that becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy instead of helping them get out of their situation

I mean as long as all parties in a relationship agree on a dynamic, there’s nothing wrong with it (i.e. “I want to be the provider and my partner wants a provider”). The problem lies when people push their ideals on everyone else (i.e. “I want to be a provider, therefore all women everywhere should be housewives”) Personally, I want men who have a certain level of income and stability, but this is not because I want them to be a provider. I want us both to be financially independent of each othe…

Putting women on a pedestal isn’t the same as valuing them as human beings. Not to mention: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/19645027/

China doesn’t value women, which is literally why they killed female babies in the first place. Even now, they don’t value women other than as potential wives for their sons. I just don’t understand this mentality. I’m in a relationship because I value my partner as a human being, not for money (I have my own career) or babies (I’m sterile). Why do men keep putting themselves in this box?

If I had to choose between single-hood and a man who’s constantly bitter and hostile towards women, I’d gladly choose being single. I’d gladly forfeit the competition and walk away, knowing that I don’t have such a headache in my life.

First, not being hostile towards women. Would you want to be with a woman who hates on men all the time? Why would I want to spend time with someone who is just going to be hostile towards me all the time? Also, I need to personally get along with the man and have common goals and values. Any man that views relationships as “obtaining a woman” is automatically not my type.
/r/ExRedPill26/04/22 07:40 PM

It’s less about money and status and more about responsibility and level-headedness. I don’t want a relationship where either of us are financially dependent on each other or dragging the other down. I give zero fucks whether he’s rich or popular. And yes, there is some level of chance involved. I’ve seen some solid men and women who are single, while others who don’t have their shit together at all are in relationships.

I can only speak for myself. I have to personally know and like the person. My boyfriend and I were friends (and formerly coworkers) for a long time. We have a lot in common and have similar life goals. Neither of us are quitting our day jobs to become models anytime soon, but we both like working out and I find him attractive.

Social media has ruined dating for everyone. A woman will get 100s of messages that won’t go anywhere. Not to mention the standards for looks and how photogenic a woman should be (at all times) has gone way up thanks to Instagram and filters. Everyone is putting on a front and it’s very hard to genuinely meet and get to know people compared to pre-social media times.
/r/ExRedPill12/04/22 12:51 PM

Honest question. I see a lot about hypergamy. Does redpill completely ignore women who have careers and aren’t looking for a provider?

There is (November 19) but quite frankly I don’t see the point of either one, and don’t care for the corporate pandering on Women’s Day. I just want to go about my life.

The thing with dating apps is women get flooded with messages that turn into game-playing, flakiness, demands for nudes, or just nothing. I didn’t meet anyone on dating apps and have just given up on them. They’re a complete waste of time. Not to mention, a lot of women have to worry about whether the guy will physically harm them! That being said, I’m not against escorts. If everyone is consenting and you’re getting what you need, why not? But understand that women who are looking for a relatio…

You’re right, I don’t need men. When I get in a relationship, it’s because I love him and enjoy his company, not because I gain things from him.

This just shows how unproductive it is to have a “who has it harder” competition. It really depends on a lot of factors. Why not work on solving these issues instead of using them to shut down the other side?

In my experience, hell no. I don’t play games. If I want sex the first date, I’ll go for it. If “purity” is the only thing a man respects about me, then he doesn’t really respect me as a person and I don’t want yo be with a man like that.
/r/ExRedPill28/09/21 12:41 AM

No. They don’t. Most stable women want stable, assertive men. These men who call themselves “nice guys” tend to be entitled and hostile towards women (“these bitches won’t date me”) which is ultimately what turns off most women.
/r/ExRedPill16/09/21 12:28 AM

Do these people not know regular women with jobs? It seems like their entire view of women is based on clubbers and IG models.

Honestly, depends on the woman/women you are trying to attract. If you want a stable woman and partner, no.

How about making it a goal to get stable employment and becoming more self sufficient? What is stopping you there? By the way, how old are you? Also, relationships take effort. If you’re not willing to put in effort or make sacrifices for basic life skills, how do you think that kind of attitude will affect a potential relationship?

I don’t think the Last of Us games were meant to be escapist fantasy, so I really don’t get the complaints about it. Besides, Abby was based on a real person and Ellie is a kid. I frankly don’t care if some other games do have sexy women in it.

First of all, where is all this coming from? Is it from a red pill echo chamber or from real life experiences? I often find that redpillers get their whole perspective from the clubbing scene or social media and pretty much ignores the rest of society. Yes, I am a woman. No, I’m not interested in “bad boys”. I’m a stable person and prefer other stable people. I’m here because I do like men and am interested in figuring out how to get all our needs met instead of constantly being contentious with…

It is ridiculous. I’d rather have someone who I mesh well with who is financially independent and stable (and I plan to be also). So no, I’m not looking on a “cock carousel” looking for a sugar daddy.

I’ve always preferred men my own age. I want a partner who is in a similar life stage as me. When I was in my 20s, I preferred 20s men and was not interested in 40 year olds.

I can’t speak for everyone, but for me it’s not just looks, but the way a man carries himself. I don’t care about height, but I do care about hygiene, physical fitness, and a clean cut look. I work out and take care of myself also.
/r/ExRedPill17/07/21 02:02 PM

I’m pretty sure she got a lot of attention and likes. Women like this are generally looking for validation. I agree that there are a lot of accountability in bith genders. Look at redpillers, they created a whole movement in order to dodge accountability.

I prefer a relationship in which neither party is financially dependent on the other. So given that he can take care of himself, there are things I value way more in a man than money.

It really depends on the woman. Personally, I’m almost 40 and enjoying it. I have a good career, I’m in a good place financially, physically fit, able to take care of myself, so not an issue at all. I probably get less attention from men that a 20 year old would, but it really doesn’t bother me. It might bother me if I wanted kids, but I don’t so 🤷🏾‍♀️

Yes, I am a woman. Honestly, it depends on the type of physical task. I’m not a powerlifter, so I definitely wouldn’t win a powerlifting competition against male powerlifters. But I seem to be on par with HIIT type workouts. I also have a physical job and perform well above average in relation with my male colleagues. I don’t think it’s a misunderstanding as much as we just have different life experiences. You mentioned dance clubs in your last post, I don’t go to dance clubs at all. We just hav…

I enjoy being fit and muscular and enjoy overcoming obstacles and mastering new skills. For too long, I’ve been told not to because I come across as intimidating and not demure enough. I want men to feel purposeful, but at the same time, I shouldn’t have to give up what fulfills me or play down my own abilities just to make a man feel useful. We all need to find a way to find a way to adapt and find purpose without diminishing each other.
