How about actual control over their own bodies? You’re from America, which is pathetic as you guys are moving backwards. Look what happened to Roe V Wade. Same country that forces girls (literally not even teenagers) to carry their rapists babies to term. How about west vs the west, you want to play the role of traditional values and shit, well how about the fact that in Europe maternal leave is paid and much longer than in the US. And in the US it’s mostly unpaid. It clearly shows how undervalu…

The definition of feminism is believing in equality between men and women. Do you agree with that or not?

Holy fuck, that’s exactly my experience in MR sub too. It slowly turned into an incel/redpill movement and when I called them out on it, reminded people that it’s not about hating women, but strictly men’s right, multiple times. In the beginning many people agreed, as time went by my votes trended downwards as the sub got more popular. When I finally started getting into negative karma for pointing out the difference between women hate and MR, I left.

How is this PPD? Ffs don’t let this sub become another sub that will just farm karma by posting shit from FDS, we know. It’s cancer. I’m subbed here for a specific content. All I’m getting is incel-like content and FDS screenshots. Where are the entitled people being denied?

I’m delusional? It’s literally the reason Reddit banned it. It’s one google search away. Seems like you need your incel safe space back

There’s “toxic” and then there’s “justifying mass murderer and glorifying them” toxic. Let’s not downplay how cancerous these subs were. It certainly wasn’t “a few” people, it was the majority because those posts stayed up and gained a lot of traction.

They were all worded in a dumbass way like “why isn’t it okay for a man to force himself on a woman but okay for women to do X” or “hot takes” like “a girl deserves to be raped if they did X or X. Or the countless posts glorifying Eliot roger as a fucking martyr because of his actions. In short, a lot of violent “thoughts” against women rooted in frustration and hatred. Fact is, the sub MGTOW was not even close to what it was intended by its end. They had an MGTOW2 which presumably also turned t…

MGTOW was hella toxic too, and it took quite a long time before it was banned. And tbh this sub also has its fair share of incel toxicity. The question is, is if it will ever be banned. I’m not sure what was the final straw for MGTOW was (and all the related banned subs) but it probably had to do with the violent/illegal nature of some people posts. A lot of rape talking and justifying how it’s okay.

Do you think these orphan kids have a great life? Do you really think every single kid that gets put up for adoption will be adopted? If every women was forced to carry their term, you know how many more orphans there would be? Who do you think pays for them? And you deem that a punishment, that two people need to endure.

Goddamn I hate this sub man, I wish there was a similar content sub without these incels and mgtow’ers. The ignorance here is pathetic, even in the comments everyone just boils it down to “empowerment”. It’s about having a choice. “Holding them accountable” yeah great punishment there pal, bring more unwanted kids in this world so they can have a miserable life and fulfill their 18 year long duty as a punishment to their mother. Ask a kid about a very complicated topic? That involves so many thi…

Yes I still think you’re wrong. Mainly because of the hypocrisy in this whole situation. She’s catholic enough to believe her kids should go to a catholic school. But apparently within her own beliefs it’s what she does is not an issue. I have nothing against sex workers but you can’t serve god and the devil at the same time. You send your kids to a catholic school because you share the same beliefs and morals, she was proven to be doing the opposite so she doesn’t belong there. I don’t think it…

I agree that this doesn’t belong in this sub, but I don’t agree that you’re on her side. If it was any other school, sure, her choices shouldn’t matter. But she sends them to a Catholic school, come tf on, this doesn’t even need to be explained

That’s what you think the purpose of separate bathroom are? Have you ever been to any concert? I had to pee while there were literally dozens of teenage girls (fall out boy) next to me cramped up in the men’s bathroom, even near the urinals with no separators. Because the women’s bathroom had an even longer queue. Same thing happened at 3 other concerts I’ve been to.

The value of people’s lives based on gender. That 2 months is absolutely insulting to anyone who has a decent sense of morality, regardless of gender. On the fucking weekends. Edit: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2237300/amp/Man-freed-prison-serving-years-woman-wrongly-claimed-molested-10.html The full story is actually more infuriating. No downvoting at all, there’s absolutely no post regarding the updated situation. But take a moment to read the comments on the older posts how they’re saying this nutjob is so brave and strong and how Depp doesn’t deserve her and he’s a piece of shit. Exactly. If MGTOW was actually what they said they were meant to be, MGTOW2 wouldn’t exist. I’ve browsed MGTOW2 and MGTOW. Although I don’t follow their way of life I could say that the mentality between the two subs are far apart. Worst part now is that so many MGTOWers coming here spreading their hate.

Yea “at least” 50% every time I went there 1 out of 10 post was about going their own way. Even if it didn’t seem so from the title the comment section will always contain women hating comments.

The picture is of a woman actually, but yes I noticed this is the second picture that OP posted and the other one (picture of a man) was straight up sexist.

No, man is specifically used for the male gender, “men” is used as the plural form of “man” but also for people. And they didn’t use “people” probably because they meant to target males, but also need to have an alibi of some sort to prove it’s not sexist
/r/MensRights23/01/20 11:47 AM

Couldn’t the advertisers refute this by saying that “men” isn’t use to define a specific gender in this case but rather human kind?

You are ignorant. Comparing professionals to the average person and swearing up and down the average man is better than professional woman.

Comparing professional female athletes to amateur male athletes is a different story. This is what I’m saying, both party are skilled in their sports, competing level IS based on gender. But this guy is saying THE AVERAGE MAN is better than a professional female athlete. There is a huge difference between that statement vs comparing amateur male athletes to female professional athletes. Not to mention the type of sport is also another variable. How are you going to compare an average man to a pr…

You are ignorant as fuck. You think all it takes in sports is better body composition? These women or any top athletes of ANY gender take years to master these skills. Now you want to come tell me just because men have higher testosterone and bone density etc, the average male can beat these top athletes. I am a male and I’m a powerlifter as well as a weightlifter. You’re spouting some serious shit just to make yourself feel superior as a man. I am confident no average male or teenager can even …

It is NOT true because of the groups you’re comparing. Testosterone and body composition will only get you so far. Comparing top female athletes to “the average male teenager” is a vast overstatement. Top male vs top female athletes IS a huge difference but to compare them to the average teenage male is just plain wrong, you’re either pulling this out your ass or you’ve never followed any kind of sports, because clearly you don’t know what top athlete means or have a sense what teenagers are cap…

Even top professional athlete women get completely blown the fuck out by average men and even highschool junior boys teams (14 to 17) This is definitely not true. I’ve literally heard only one case similar to this and it was about a the Australian football team and that’s about it.

And that’s where YOU ARE WRONG. This is sub is about MENRIGHTS. Look at the damn post, read the fucking sidebar. How is this related to the rights of men? It’s purely just to talk down women. Not related to this sub. Keep your women hating shit in your pathetic little circle that you claim is about men going their own way.
/r/MensRights16/09/19 04:36 PM

How is this white knighting? My stance on this is completely neutral. I give you insight from both sides and pointing out double standards. Just because I don’t partake in your women hating circlejerk doesn’t mean I’m a white knight.

How is that circling back to “incel” a real adult relationship entails a relationship that doesn’t play these petty games.
/r/MensRights16/09/19 12:37 PM

The gender of the person who wrote it does not matter. What matter is the ideology behind it getting posted here. Many posts here on /r/mensrights uses the role reversal technique to point out inequality men face. Reverse the roles in this scenario and see how you feel about it. What if it was. Man posting how men “really” are by generalizing them and then it gets posted on /r/womensrights to show that even “us” men notice how “difficult” we are. Pretty sure everyone would call him a white knigh…

It is not. Incel goes way beyond reddit and is probably even WORSE outside of reddit. There are many forums dedicated to this mentality, very very few of them are actually meant to help each other or cope. The majority is however a toxic community.
/r/MensRights16/09/19 10:49 AM
2

That’s the thing I mean though, the word is not meant as an insult for the lack of pussy you get. I couldn’t care less if someone is a virgin or not. The word is used almost exclusively to point out the toxic mentality and NOT to shut someone down because of their sex lives. I have never seen anyone use the word incel in a way to berate them on their involuntary celibacy. Every time it is used it’s because of the behavior behind it.
/r/MensRights16/09/19 10:43 AM
4

Try reading the sidebar. And please don’t act naive. Words have been used with a different connotation since forever. Everywhere you mention the word incel on Reddit it means a specific sub group of people. I am sure people who are involuntarily celibate and don’t have mental issues don’t call themselves incels because of the connotations that come along with it. Face it the word incel does NOT mean what it originally meant same as how MGTOW is actually about men going their own way.
/r/MensRights16/09/19 09:32 AM
3

This sub is about men’s rights yet we let cry babies bitch about women all the time and crosspost from toxic subs like MGTOW. This HAS nothing to do with men’s rights it’s literally to whine about women. And no surprise OP posts in MGTOW. Nothing wrong with being involuntary celibate, what is meant with the word incel itself is more of a toxic mentality.
/r/MensRights16/09/19 09:07 AM
-2

I don’t know why you’re -7 already. This is true, if MGTOW didn’t become another incel infested sub, there wouldn’t be an MGTOW2. There’s clearly an overlap of views between the subs, but the views we don’t share are worlds apart.
/r/MensRights16/09/19 07:51 AM

Fuck out of here with your women hating post. Take this shit to /r/MGTOW This sub is about men’s rights. It is not to generalize women. We talk about specific cases here and bigotry in the system NOT how you think all women behave. Fucking incel

Oh please, that sub is one toxic shithole. Your description is what they claim they stand for. It’s just a women hate sub. /r/mensrights is about and should be about men’s rights. Due to cross postings like this one I ended up on that sub a few times by accident thinking I was on /r/mensrights and I was just disgusted with what I read. It’s pathetic, it’s basically /r/braincels with less bait and trolling and more about discussing how terrible women are and can be.
