yeah exactly. more like regret and a faint aspiration to fame that just spiral out of control. I ve seen a similar case in France years ago, half the girls friends knew she made up the claims, but they hated the dude more, so he got sentenced to 6 years before someone went to pipe up to the cops. guy was a POS on all fronts, but he didn't deserve this.
