As someone with aspergers, I, as well as a few other friends with the same condition have been trying to get the word "sperg" to be used more. Quite simply, Aspie just sounds like ass pie. Asbergers gets jokes for being about burgers made out of asses. Sperg is just a random word, not a whole lot to go with it. We use the phrase "you just spergged out dude." a lot in conversation, just saying, it sounds a lot nicer.

Really. REALLY. You're here, seeking equality, and instead of saying "sensationalism", or really, any other word, you instead chose to use autism, a disorder people struggle with all over the planet, to describe something being bad and obsessive? I actually happen to have Asperger's (medically diagnosed, I'm not a gaming dick that decided since he dislikes people he's a sperglord), and it really pisses me off when other people decide that "autism" is an accepted thing to use in place of "sucky".

When I said "I'm not congress" I specifically meant I don't know why hundreds of people elected from all over the country decided in unison that women get the right to vote but not fight at that time. First off, it's been a couple days since I made this post. Second off, I don't know, I'm not congress. Third, you don't either. Some of it's born out of old fashioned attitudes about women, this is true, but there are in fact women who want to sign up for the draft. However, seeing as we no longer have a draft, signing up for it is a moot point.

I tend to see that a lot here, where "dispelling myths" about male sexism seems to try to balance the scale, only to make it lean heavily toward female sexism. This author is very carefully selecting sources to create a slant into a very '50's style home, but to be fair, this is a conservative mag, and so it probably wants that.
