I think most on seddit just go with 'hi, i'm XXX' basically? Although, that would be a weird opener in some countries, I guess it's OK in the US. UK girls for example find this the weirdest opener lol (I gave it a damn good run after watching Juliens 'pimp' product for inspiration). I tend to like observational/situational openers

So maybe the problem isn't about showing interest but more about escalating. I kind of consider them to be the same thing. I'm fine with both, but only when I know that she's into me. And I can just tell when that's the case. But I find it hard to move the interaction forward in anyway at all (escalation/intent/whatever) when my gut tells me she's not 'into me' in that way.

But what sort of things do you say to move the interaction into one that puts sex on the table? Some of the stuff you mention comes kind of natrual to me, but ONLY when I can tell that she's into me. But most of the time, that isn't the case. And If I don't do something to try to move the interaction forward, it will never happen, but it's hard for me to jump from asking them what they do bla bla bla to making it 'man to woman' as they say. Do PUA's ever hit on native girls in their own country out of interest? Seems they're nearly always hitting on travellers who are looking for adventure, or hitting on girls in Eastern Europe as Brit/Aussie/American etc.
