I don't think you appreciate the failure rate...

You messed up by putting these girls ahead of yourself. Girl #1 you should've just been honest with her. Either you mind her friend coming or nah, what she might be thinking shouldn't influence what you want to do. Girl #2 Just strung you along. If it was some dude you're barely friends with, how would you have dealt with the situation instead? Alternatively, if this girl was trying to meet up with you, would you have acted the same way she did? Even if she likes your or not... that's really dis…

Sounds like you're missing vulnerability to me. If you can't talk to your boys about something like this then I don't imagine you opening up more to the girls you're seeing. Its not just about being awesome 100% of the time. Life is about ups and downs and if you're with someone that seems like they're up all the time... Something feels off. This is all guessing from the limited information I got so you decide if its applicable to you.

Because its fun! If its not, its your own anxieties and limiting beliefs holding you back. I was the same and you're never gonna have a eureka moment where it all makes sense and then suddenly you'll have tons of motivation. You just have to stick to it and trust that you'll get to that place. I was the same and now I'm finally at a place where I'm excited to go and talk to people!

Dude, we've had different lives but the broad strokes are roughly the same. I think the biggest help for me was focusing on having fun. You might be able to analyse how you do things to improve your "performance" with girls but at the end of the day, do you really want to reduce something that's meant to be fun and natural to a system and procedure?

Do it! I'm going to different types of club nights just to explore what I might like and taking enjoyment out of the new experiences

The show was amazing but I had to leave right as it was getting good because I had work the next morning. There's another one on a weekend soon which I'm really looking forward to enjoying My successes were what I pictured things to be like. No anxiety, pure fun and confidence! I photobombed a bunch of people and used that to open the group which genuinely felt effortless. In terms of openers, environmental openers are real because I felt in sync with the environment, it didn't feel weird when I…

Find somewhere that's in your element. I went to an industrial drum and bass night and felt awful. I went to a Kanye West night and felt like a god. Environment is key.

Actually, I think I've learned to recognise that the feeling isn't really a fear, which is why lots of people say that it never goes away. I think its your body acknowledging some sort of sexual tension between you and another person, which explains why I would freak out SO BAD and feel so uncomfortable even when a girl made eye contact with me! I've learned to embrace the feeling and purposely seek it out to become accustomed to it and make it my friend. I really like it because I tend to overt…

Keep saying shit, no matter how stupid. Wit is just being able to say the right thing at the right time. If you're intelligent enough, you can develop the first with minimal effort. You have to keep practicing to develop the second but it'll come in time. The hardest thing is developing the confidence to actually say what you want to. I get told I'm one of the funniest people they know by most of my friends but the truth is that I make a lot of jokes that aren't very funny. I just never let the …

Nope! The point is that you're not a loser and you should learn how to talk to yourself! Let me flip it on you. If you met a girl you really got along with and wanted to take things further... Would you really give a shit if you found out she worked retail, dropped out of college and lives at home? (not saying that's you, just an example) The same principle applies. External things might detract from your attractiveness but it doesn't outright ruin it (within reason, obviously). More importantly…

I wasn't! I was just pointing out how external things might help but real attractiveness comes from within. My case is a bit of an extreme as I made things a lot harder for myself than I needed to because I dropped into a really deep depression but a lot of that was because I couldn't understand how after finally working on these things that things aren't actually getting better. The frustration fueled the depression and spiralled down even worse. For better or for worse, it made me realise that…

Escalate. If she keeps stopping you but keeps on flirting with you then you're getting led on. If she enjoys the escalation and doesn't stop too you often she's definitely interested. This isn't the only scenario though. She might not be malicious, she might have her own issues about flirting and escalation which might not have anything to do with making herself feel better by getting your attention and leading you on. At the end of the day, all that matters is how much you're willing to put up …

I can second that. I lost 80 pounds, changed my wardrobe, moved out, got my own car, got a fulltime job and I got less success than I used to! It wasn't until I also decided to develop my social skills (and inner game) that things really started improving. Status and things may add to your attractiveness but they don't make it. It all comes from within.

Sounds like you need to build your confidence and self-esteem so you get your validation from the inside rather than from the outside world. I'll repost a previous comment I made because I think its applicable. Let me tell you right now that this isn't easy to fix. It's simple... but its not easy. Acceptance - Accept everything about yourself as they are now. This means the bad but most importantly, the good. Stop taking yourself for granted You need to stop minimising the good that is in your l…

There's absolutely zero problem with looking for a certain level of attractiveness in your partners. It becomes the problem when that's the ONLY thing you're looking for. You have to determine what qualities you like in your friends as a starting point and try to apply those filters to all the people you meet. Then, actually get to know some women. No agenda, just friends. Learn what you find attractive about them and apply that to any new women you might meet. Try to get to know them as well. I…

Always assume attraction. You should ask (especially) when you're not sure in a situation like that when you've got nothing to lose. Take it as a big positive that you're open to the idea that she might have been interested... You're halfway there bro!

Challenge your thoughts. Verbalise your arguments and try to process them as an impartial outsider. For example: Why do you think you need to be the most good looking? Are looks the only thing that matter to girls? Why do you think that's the only thing that matters? What proof do you have of this? Its an insecurity which might be warping your thoughts and its a very difficult thing to stop unless you actively make that decision. To address your issue... Looks don't mean anything and you're maki…

Don't waste your time on self-pity or hate. Its not that serious and its only because you're so terrible to yourself that you feel miserable. You have to make the decision to put yourself in situations where you can meet people because your school isn't doing it for you anymore.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
