I wonder if gender itself was less emphasised (in clothing and behavioral expectations) if this would be an issue at all for a small child. In the natural order, I don't think that Barbies and transformers should even factor in. You were clearly in a trajectory to become yourself, which is wonderful, but as a small child I like to imagine it should have been a non issue. But I can totally see the legitimacy of your young self's distress given the way we are all actively categorized.

It's cool that the post is about some valuable progress in society for your cause, and then you continue to taint your own cause with an unfunny and shit attitude, about the same thing happening to not-you. You're why we can't have nice things. The problem isn't so much that you said it, but it's in the top 3 comments, reverberating this communities short sighted mentality. Yes, men's rights, but let's not forget respect and decency to all of our people. That should be the core of men's rights.

On the other hand, I care for my son 4 nights a week and still pay almost 1000 in child support. But I've come into a very fortunate career path that I'm very thankful for, while mom still earns approximately what we did when we were teenagers. Do I wish it was different? Oh yeah. Could she earn more? Most likely. But we're doing okay. It kills me to th…

Sometimes I think we're all too quick to doubt the experiences and reasoning behind the terribly formatted sentiments of others. I have a weird shattered family where I can see people on varying levels and abilities to function. I've kept friends from different kinds of jobs and stages in my life, and it really does make sense to me that people think these things, based on what they do and see. I saw the above comic a couple years ago, and yeah it's tacky, but hidden in it is a point and a tacky…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
