In the US, the woman would not face any criminal charges due to policies in criminal cases that were mandated to protect actual victims. Yes, read that again. While any other instance of false reporting would carry a commensurate punishment, a woman who lies about sexually-based crimes is rarely punished. False reporting of any crime is a crime. The level of punishment is tied directly to the falsified report. File false trespass charges, you receive the equivalent misdemeanor false reporting. File false rape charges, you receive the equivalent felony false reporting. It's worse than that. Judges/courts in the US have a policy to not pursue false reporting charges in these cases. Even if they wanted to, it would be shot down. This policy protects actual victims apparently. Hopefully some new precedent is made to cancel the protocol.

We have it already. It's called civil court. Criminal justice system is NOT ALLOWED to prosecute false reporting on women for rape charges against men. It's a standard protocol to protect real victims. The criminal who escapes the falsifying charge is not protected from civil suits seeking damages from the false criminal complaint.
