| 4 | The Brazilian women's soccer team faced 16-year-old children in a friendly closed to the press and tried not to divulge the result of the game, but sources revealed that the children won 6 x 0. In the pic is Marta, the best in the history of women's football, who is an activist for equal payTrue, but performance and spectacle leads to revenue. It’s why people pay hundreds of euros/dollars to f.e. watch Messi play for FC Barcelona or Lebron James play for the Lakers. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 13/01/21 07:42 PM |

| 1 | Cross post from r/MurderedByWords and Thought it belonged hereNewspapers/sites don’t really use that, at least not in my country (The Netherlands). I also checked British newspapers and they don’t seem to do it either. It seems to me that it is quite a clickbait thing. WSJ seems to do it though, and it looks bad to me. It’s like they don’t know which words you should capitalize. NY Times seems to do it on half of their articles, which is even worse. Then again, the font seize of NYT article headers is also very inconsistent. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 08/01/19 06:24 PM |
