Judging the whole group based on the bad apples. Of course, the number of bad apples is debatable, and perhaps there really are enough to make your judgement of them fair. I have seen a lot who give BLM a bad name, and I have seen a lot who are very reasonable. It's not a cause I really care about though, and I haven't interacted with many from either side, I'm just speaking from very, VERY, general impressions.

I don't know, that seems like a prejudiced opinion. I mean, I constantly have to defend Trump supporters for the same reason, despite that its clear to see that most Trump supporters are morally upstanding and genuinely decent people. I have to give them the same benefit of the doubt. Granted, the BLM movement is much more volatile and decentralized, with a lot more racists popping up and trying to champion the BLM cause.
