The advice at the end assumes she will just go on forever pretending she doesn't know and wasn't super hurt. That secret resentment will come out sometime. Even when she knows it's her fault, the hurt is still there. Either communicate and work through it honestly or call it quits. Anything else will be torturing herself.

If you really believe that when you scream 'faggot' through your mic you are simply equating them to some inanimate object, then may I suggest you choose a different object? Then you won't be accused of homophobia. Next time you die on dota you can screech 'you fucking hay bale!' or 'you cocksucking stack of newspapers!' and it should be the same for you, yes?
