Yes. Noted. The removal of distractions will make this easier, however.

Question. I'm considering stopping going to parties, stopping all things not pertaining to work. Screw everything, become the professional. A mover, shaker, what I have a passion for. Fuck it. If I find beautiful women along the way, whatever, fine, guess it's okay, but my passion and love will go to my work, to running my own shit. Is that a good idea or bad?

Thanks, posted the comment there as well. What seems to be the problem is that... I mean I disagree with a lot of what Milo has to say, at least economically, but he makes good points as well, and rather than listening to him, the opposition screams over and over. In identity politics, and this is something he nailed, it's not about what's being said, it's about who's saying it, and therefore the 'why' they're saying it, as though that matters more than the idea itself or the quality of it. It's…

Yeah, I was there. This was pretty wild. Lots of melodrama. White girl thinking she's making a biiiiiiiiig moment, symbolically standing there proudly with her fist in the air while others clap and cheer, so on and so forth, but it... really... I mean, I doubt in ten years' time it'll be remembered at all. There's.... I mean, the audience asked some cringe-inducing questions, but the opposition was just a fucking caricature brought to life. Loud, interrupting, shouting them down, even Milo was g…

That, or make your hobby look like it's boring or productive. I love fixing bikes for the neighborhood. I put out there "it's good to give back." What I don't say is I fucking LOVE fixing bicycles. Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance got that shit dead-right. That is a man's book, right there. Bikes, motorcycles, cars, whatever. If you work on it, you understand.

And that's the way the world wants men. Men are dangerous. Testosterone is aggressive, ambitious, it wants change, to overthrow things. This is a happy government. Why do you think government supports things like conflict resolution over just punching the bully in the face, which really is a very short and effective resolution to an age-old conflict?

Hardly- it isn't like this is a gendered thing. In the Bi/Gay community, quite a lot of people approach each other regardless of gender. It's good to be bi.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
