I think most of the people that visits this sub are of the "women shouldn't be treated special by society and legal systems" type, but there are a few jackasses that are of the "women won't speak to me so I'm angry and direct my self-hatred at women" types too. So what, you think a woman being murdered by her intimate partner doesn't ruin her life or something? If it's irrational to worry about your life being ruined by being killed, which is orders of magnitude more likely to happen than a false rape accusation, how is it anything but irrational to be worried about false rape accusations? Women being murdered by are afraid of something a couple of orders of magnitude more likely than a man facing a false rape accusation. So, if a woman being murdered by a man is being irrational because it's so statistically unlikely, you would agree that men afraid of being falsely accused of rape are at least as irrational as that event is even less likely.
