True, but it should be a conscious step towards getting more confident and not a way to hide further your lack of confidence

If it’s in topic and not constant? No. As long as you also make sure that the other parties get some attention too you’re fine

Awww they did find themselves. I can already picture it: “-my spouse is BETTER than yours -no mine is! -no way my spouse the best -...” Fun conversations. So, who do you think hangs up the phone first?

Haha I did too. And then I remembered: - I do not have low-self esteem - I do not care if people I don’t care/know about think I have low self esteem

Low self esteem comes in all shapes and forms I guess. But honestly tho, many of my now close friends had a very low self esteem. That didn’t keep them from being the most interesting persons ever IMO. I don’t know you, I don’t know how you feel and I cannot give you specified advice but please remember that chances are you’re a lot more than you can even imagine (and by chances I mean I’m actually sure of that). I have faith in you, you’ll find your path stranger.

Pretty true IMO but to be nuanced, one should be careful to not attach to much value to what one can and cannot do.

I’d say if you don’t already maybe try teasing her and being more openly flirty (like, 75% jokingly or something).

Get used to rejection. Don’t take it personnally.

Tease her, make her laugh, idk honestly it’s not that complicated. Just establish a bond. If she’s ignoring you it may be because you keep trying to establish romantic/sexual bonds with everyone you meet (and despair has a strong smell). Maybe stop trying to see girls as how you can fuck them (we can definitely see that) and more about how you can connect with them on a human level. Chances are she’s probably not against getting to know you or acknowledging you she just sees you as desperate for…

Honestly it doesn’t sound like you actually want this. Big difference between fantasy and actually doing it so maybe try an think a little more about it and what you want (as in, weight the pros and cons, how this might affect your relationship long term and stuff) before throwing yourself at it. It also sounds like your girlfriend has big self-esteem issues so I’d recommend checking in on her. Her proposing an open relationship might be the result of low self-esteem, self-hatred and stuff that …

Honestly when you’re not sure just ask. I’d try something like ”oh do you wanna reschedule and do something else instead?”. That should cut it. People aren’t ought to get you, but maybe she’s less interested than you thought, so I’d just test the waters.

Also, if you’re making this post to check which of these behaviours apply to you to stop doing them, don’t. That would mean you’re only trying to appear more confident instead of being more confident. These behaviours are only the consequences of a deeper problem. The path to confidence is different for everyone, because lack of self-esteem has many many sources. Honestly a therapist could better orient you than I. Best of luck.

Yeahhh as a woman reading this made me want to throw up. Either way looking for sex or for someone to be submissive are not the way to go. Especially if you’re trying to play a role.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
