You're not arguing against your opponent's actual position -- you're arguing against an improperly implemented version of your opponent's theory that they aren't even advocating. Before you scream at me: I know the 77 cent figure is a myth, but the fact is there is still a disparity between male and female earnings and that disparity, however slight, needs to be eliminated.
