What I mean by "hampered by lust" is exactly what you said, "being destructive". I literally get completely irrational to the point I could literally throw the world away for a moment of bliss with a girl I like. There could be "red flags" with a girl, or the wrong social situation, etc...And I would still go ahead. | 1 | At 32, am I too old for college bars?European here and in my twenties. You are "too old" depending more on social status than age. For instance if you are old and some creepy salaried man, then yes you are too old. On the other hand, I've see guys from 60-80 in nightclubs and bars, that dressed like hipsters and were active mentally, doing more interesting things than guys in their 20s.
