If cooking is your hobby and you genuinely enjoy it, more power to you. Personally I've found it's cheaper to eat out all three meals. Of course assuming you're actually eating and cooking a variety of food every day. Of course it's cheaper to buy a truckload of beans, rice, and chicken, freeze it, and eat exclusively that until you die. That's also insane.
